I reckon if the last the panthers game is anything to go by, we need that front line to be as strong as possible. We already have Brailey in the middle, and while he is a fairly good defender for his size, having 2 undersize defenders in the middle would be too much. Controlling the ruck is too important atm. Sure, we could compress our line but that only is going to open up opportunities on the outside. Imagine Brailey and Moylan standing side by side in the defensive line. If I was a big fella I’d be going straight for them

I’d Swap Trindall for Tracey, otherwise I like it. I think Tracey has had his chances in FG this year, and while he hasn’t been bad, he hasn’t nailed the bench spot. Trindall is a blue sky player, so I’d Be giving him some time out there.

So I'm guessing Williams and Wilton will be giving our props a break.

Does this mean when Williams comes off the bench he goes to lock for a stint and Rudolf to prop do you think? Or do we just run a bit light up front for 20.

Our backline should monster theirs particularly in the centres

Our forward pack/bench is a different beast to what ran out against the Dragons previously and should have the advantage

I hope Jack Williams is on his last chance if he doesn't deliver this weekend (pending Soro's recovery)

Good test for Wilton

Should be a cracking game this time round, not the lackluster limp effort we dished up against them before

If starting lineup doesn't change I expect the plan would be something like

BHU 30 mins, Rudolf 30 mins, BHU 20 mins
Woods 50 mins, Hunt 30 mins
Talakai 60 mins, Wilton 20 mins
Graham 80 mins
Rudolf 30 mins, Williams 40 mins, either Talakai or Rudolf back for last 10 mins

I expect Brailey to come off for Tracey again, with Tracey getting more game time the better we are going
That's 6 changes

If things are going well give Woods some time back on at 13 and use Talakai to give Graham another early finish

I'd be shocked if that's the starting team. Rudolf off the bench seems to work. We'll see some switch in the forwards.

Maybe Tieg even starts.

Yeah I didn't want to try and guess every iteration haha

Very real chance Williams starts could see him then play out perhaps 50-60 straight (which I don't love) with Rudolf doing some prop then moving to lock

I'd be surprised if Teig starts but I have absolutely no concept of how good his fitness is currently, if you start him I'd think you'd be wanting 50-60 out of him, played a big chunk of the Jets GF (60 mins) but was off the bench behind Sorro/Bukuya who played 80 minutes each, very different circumstances to now in NRL with no games under his belt.

The latter I’d Guess. Wilton gives talakai a break and Hunt/Williams the middle.

Williams surely can't get more than 20-30 minutes. He'll be gassed.
Toby starting at 13 still seemed to pack a punch, and though he's dymanite off the bench, we don't really have a better starting option. We need better starts too, so I'm for him starting.

Nah Williams is one of the fittest forwards at the club, strongest too.

Also worst hands at the club.

Interesting edge match ups this week
Katoa, Ramien, Talakai vs Frizell, Lomax, Ravalawa
Mulitalo, Dugan, Graham vs Fuimaono, Aitken, Saab

Reckon Fuimaono is lucky he isn't matched up against Talakai as he'd give him nightmares whereas Graham will beat him mostly with a kick or a pass which makes it someone elses problem
Good test for Talakai on Friz though

Both their centres makes most of their tackles but Lomax probably isn't as strong as some of the other centres and there could be some good meters for Ramien.

scrap that, they are the other way around

We do hopefully get to enjoy Talakai run over Fuimaono a bunch of times

Both teams cross field kicks will be going left though (Saab and Mulitalo)

Graham played a bit of middle last week. Hopefully a sign of the things to come this week and going forward

I want to be a true believer like Egg.

But I'm still surprised that we're favourites in this one.
