I like it. Glad Teig is finally getting a game. Williams will be up for a big game, he'll probably start with Rudolf off the bench.

Stoked for Wilton, can’t wait for him to show us what he can do. Hopefully we get a reaction from Williams from the spanking he got last week. Oh and poor Billy Mags LOL add another backrower to the parade of them that’s passed him by in the team. He really should go on loan to the Warriors.

Yeah I'd assume Teig has beaten him as cover for Talakai, if it was a middle needed you'd think Mags gets the jumper instead but it's not (well one was needed, Williams came back in)

Depending on how Brailey is going Billy Mags might get a jersey yet.

And all of a sudden our bench looks a bit questionable..! One more injury and we'll be asking for Ferris back.

Congrats to Teig. I'm looking forward to seeing how he goes. Forward.
If he's anything like the rest of the forwards we've had come through we'll be in pretty good hands (except for their hands..)

I was thinking the same, but still have the big Hunt and Williams is good if he can drop one or less balls.
The Rhino is starting, as is Rudolf (but agree good chance he ends up on the bench) so the only player really missing from our big bench is Fifi and we got by without him last week no worries.

Their bench isn't the strongest either

I've never seen Wilton play at all so looking forward to seeing how he goes, congratulations to him. On the other hand feel a bit for Magouli, he was going decent for us with a few runs earlier on but all of a sudden he seems to have dropped right back down the pecking order. Looking forward to seeing Talakai start aswell though.

Thats what I was thinking. Lacking that grunt we’ve had the past few weeks. Williams was good from the bench last year though. Hopefully we give him the ball well before the defensive line and tell him not to offload ever.

Quietly confident that Williams will have sorted out the handling errors. He's had a spell, knew what to work on and now has another shot at keeping a spot in the side. There's plenty to like about his game otherwise.

I reckon if he does well (and probably Teig also) we'll see him rejoin and Tracey drop off the bench.

I like this line-up. If Bomber runs them onto Jubilee in the right frame of mind, we should win this comfortably.

Bomber seemed happy with Willy K and said he is def a first grader and just needs more game time, so FFS leave him there, and fit Moylan in somewhere else.

From the post game Bombers main motivation sounded like getting Dugan back to centre.

Not sure where you put Moylan if not fullback or 5/8
14 just as a weird utility I guess but whilst he'd probably do it just to play Moyza didn't like playing as a middle when he did, first game back. Also takes a spot off some actual decent bench forwards we have.

Could you bring him on at 13? Heard the commentators talking about how he was basically playing 7 in attack and Chad and SJ both playing as 5/8s. I actually really like the idea of that. Don’t know he’d go defending in the middle, but it might be better than forcing him to run it back from a kick every set. Having one less forward on the bench may not be a bad thing either, they just would have to be rotated a bit more. Have we used all our interchanges in the past few weeks?

Moylan came on as a 13 in his first game back and said later in an interview he didn't want to be doing that. Offensively he can make it work, defensively it's a pretty big ask for him (or others to make up for him).

We have only used all our interchanges once on last four or five weeks. We used just 5 against Warriors
Rudolf on for Sorensen
Talakai on for BHU
Hunt on for Woods
Tracey on for Brailey
BHU on for Graham

Where does he go then? Obvious answer is FB, but my bias self feels like that would be unfair on Kennedy. If we aren’t using all our interchanges then you could almost sacrifice a bench spot for him to cover an under performing half or FB. He may string a few games together is he’s only playing 20 mins

You're kidding right? Moyza is a great front line defender, he was chopping blokes down left right and centre in 2018 and the games he played in the front this year

Defending as the 6 is not the same as defending as the 13

If he’s just playing 20mins at the back end of the game sure, but if he’s defending for a decent stretch in the place of a Rudolf/Williams/Sorensen he’ll have his work cut out for him

Missed pretty much as many tackles as Chad in 2018 and that was out wide, he’s not a bad defender but I think big stretches at 13 would put him and those around him under the pump at times

Defending at 13 is way easier than defending at 6, a whole lot less decision making, it's just physical work which he is more than capable of

Yep, missed as many as Chad, who is considered a better defensive half than most (minus Penrith where he was terrible) the difference being that Moylan adds to out attack. And IIRC Moylan had more traffic directed at him than Chad in 2018

I won’t argue that defending at 13 is often much simpler, I just think the volume of tackles on big players will go up a lot and will be tough for him to play big minutes. Missed 8 tackles playing in the middle v the tigers when everyone was still finding their feet and not the strongest pack in the NRL.

Obviously the longer he stays there the better he’ll get at it.

Can definitely add to our attack although atm defence is far more of an issue
