Guess a (half decent) answer about why we would play Jensen at wing in first grade over Tracey isn't coming...

Player X is **** so player Y is a no brainer, even though I've never seen player Y play.

Hearing that Fifita is out for Friday night replaced by Billy M.

Can someone check on egg please and make sure he hasn't hurt himself. :)

We haven't won a game in Donkey's year's and we are $1.42 favourites for the win.

We should flog them 13+ so had a curious look at the price. I know they are bookies for a reason but $2.60, they are kidding. Was expecting around $3.20

I said curious as I learned a long time ago never have an result outcome bet on the Sharks games as I never bet against us and when I did bet on us, sure enough we lost. So only bet on try scorer outcomes on our games. I also never tip against us as I reckon I would feel like a supporters ******** if I did and we got up to win. I rather feel like a beaten supporter than a winning supporters ********.

I will be taking Toby for the first time and @ $7, probably around $10 on the exchange by game time. Think he's due (ffs Woods has 2 this year). We are playing a depleted side and we need a big confidence building win.

I think you meant to say, we are a depleted side playing a depleted side

So true. Could prob add the next sentence -
If they don't pick player Y then Dino and the board should be sacked.

Fifita can’t even play 15 minutes without needing a week off. Unfortunately I think this has to be his final year with us.

But the suggestion he should consider retiring was ludicrous and completely unreasonable

I guess you are a "long time retired" so every player wants to be able to make their own call on when to retire and it's harder when someone else tells you you should do it (irrespective of if it is the right call or not).
That's by no means a dig at Bomber BTW.
It's just human nature to want to make it your own decision and given he felt good after a strong preseason (in his eyes) and dropped all the weight, I guess Fifi took it as a kick in the guts.

What I found interesting (and a little scary) was Fifi's admission in not having many conversatations with Bomber over that preseason period. That just astounded me.

I went to a cricket meeting last night and before we started there were three guys who were all Dragon fans and they were lamenting how much there were going to get pumped by the Sharks tonight with all their players out.

They were also talking about Dufty and one guy said he heard it from a good source that he's gone and it looks like he's going to Brisbane.

It's going to be like the Dogs game. They are gonna come out firing and we will be useless.

Fear so, players on one side given a chance to kick start their careers, and players on the other side playing for contracts or heading elsewhere. I'm not confident at all regardless of Bookies Odds.
