I dont remember our 1 line break. I would of put it at 0.

The dissallowed tries shows what the score could of been of been. Demonstrates the complete dominance.

Repeat sets in our 1/4 shows the dominance.

We were so far outdone by a team that was not at their best is my point. Defensively we did well and we had plenty of opportunities to show our defensive capability but i can remwnber 3 times we were penalised on the 4th tackle in our quarter. So i wouldnt be shouting from the rafters how good we are defensively yet.

Mate no teams are at their best in round 1. Give it a few weeks.

Also, how you feel about our performance probably relates to your expectations of our season. We're not a top 4 team imo, I think we'll be 6-8.

I thought the cowboys were pretty **** tbh except in their forwards, we were poor as well and still almost did them in. Teams usually get slammed for not putting the opposition away and the Cows couldn't put us away.

Sharks and Cows are both better teams than what we saw, rnd1 both teams rough as guts and underdone

With the quality and experience we have across the park top 4 is realistic but the penalties undermine how Flanno want's this team to manage a game by squeezing the opposition out and allowing opportunities to facilitate themselves. Our set pieces are clunky and we have new/young players in the mix so If he can't sort the discipline after all this time then he needs a new plan... when it works we are still one of the best teams out there.

Sharks hardly had the ball compared to Cows. When they
did they were not great.

***** game. next week will be better.

Moylan looks good.
Val looks anything but urgent/committed.
Watching Chad get out of the way on the Cows last tryscoring kick made me sick.

Maybe Chad thought his fullback was gunna attack the ball/put his body on the line. Should have been a more difficult chance for the Cows either way but it was a well placed kick from JT

With 5 rep players and a premiership only 2 years ago, i would be pissed if we didnt make the 4. We should be poised to dominate again, not rebuild. We only really lost maloney and bird (who were both crap last year). On the flipside ava & leuts look good this year.

We haven't recovered from losing Barba and Ennis which is to be expected.

I hope I'm wrong but I don't think we're a dominant team.

Looked like chad was trying to shoulder the opposition out of the way, to give Val more room except someone forgot to tell val he needs to get the ball.

I feel the same ben - I think fans take for granted or underestimate how strong our squad is and what they are capable of

They can't blame a premiership hangover/lack of motivation this year they need to perform - Coach and Players

Lewy & Gal retirements arn't far off, we need another premiership by then IMO
