The only silver lining of this game is the cold weather will shrivel the dicks that r going to rape us

Hopeful but not confident. We really timed our form slump to perfection this year.

Here's hoping that we can pull something out. If we go out in straight sets it will be a most disappointing and gut wrenching end to a season that promised so much.

In 2008, we had controversial circumstances surrounding G Bird which cost us in the end as we really missed his mongrel in that finals series. (We still flogged the Raiders in the first week)
In 2015, we had the two idiotic Fifita brothers getting suspended and derailing us before the finals.
In 2016, we again have Fifita playing up and taking the gloss off the finals.

I have faith but it's starting to wear thin after 40 years of supporting this team. I can't believe that we are in this position.

A Fifita, P Gallen must have massive games for us to win and we need the halves to do something special.

This game will be a big deal for Canberra which is good for us. They have all the expectation and pressure. Our last 3 games have been against strong opposition, whereas there's haven't. I think we can win this if start strong and play like we're the team that has finals experience, which we are, and they're the new kids on the block.

I can't see this being anything but an easy Canberra win. They are flying high at the moment and full of confidence.
We are the exact opposite.

I hear you guys, I'm not confident we can get this job done either.

But I'm backing us to get there. You have to. No good going in to this with a pessimistic attitude.
It's a whole new ball game.

Canberra have had an easy road and played some **** opposition.
We have the players and skill to win this. We just need to have the mental toughness as well.

Highly doubt that it will be a stomp. I reckon it will be a gritty one. Our centres have got to be on their games.

Indeed. We need to win it between the ears.

I can't see Bird turning anything around until he gets to the offseason to sort his shoulder injuries.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but we should have looked after him when he first got injured against the Broncos (injured according to Bird himself).

Ricky ****ed our club and left us with the gumby we have coaching us now. Surely he can't get away with a victory. Karma won't do that.

Before the Storm game, we had a pretty easy last month as well.

We are definitely underdogs in this game. I don't think that's a bad thing. Raiders have won 10 in a row and, we all know that you are bound to have a bad patch. We only need three more wins to take it home. It just doesn't seem right or likely that we could take out our first title when we've lost 6 out of our last 7. If by some chance we do win next Saturday, I feel like that it will just be a bigger let down then.

Is leutele fit? We need him big time. Bird to the bench and Ricky to 3. Capewell for Paulo and taga for Heighno if he is still crook

I agree with you here. I think man for man, we are a better side but Canberra are playing so well as a team right now and everything is clicking.
