We definitely got ahead of ourselves & a bit cocky maybe & only one one game since then, hopefully we keep our mouths shut in future.

I agree. If we had of kept a lid on things as fans then i have no doubt the boys would have won at least another game and secured a home final.

Who do you guys think will win on the weekend?

I'm thinking Cowboys and Raiders.

If Brisbane turn up and the Panthers withstand the early Raiders onslaught both games could easily go the other way though.

I don't think Hodgson will play and the Panthers will get up. Cowboys should put Brisbane to bed.

Everyone seems to have written Broncos off. I actually give them some hope. Milford was very good last week (Yeah I know Broncs got all the calls). If the Broncs forwards aim up this will be very close.

Broncos will need to work on their defence if they are any chance of winning. I reckon the cowboys will be to strong

I'll be going for the panthers as well after the way the raiders have carried on about Ennis.

I agree with Ikin, everyone says we don't have any characters in the game these days but when someone like Ennis stirs things up everyone bitches and moans about it anyway. **** them.

The media seem more concerned whinging about stuff like this then talking up about how good the finals series has been. Then they have the hide to whinge about the game not being grown.

Has tallis had a whinge about it as well. Didn't he flip off the crowd once

Correct. It's a shame because they've all been good games too. I don't think they actually know how to talk about football on any level, much less provide any type of thoughtful analysis. (There are a couple of exceptions)

It should be their job. They are supposedly the experts. I go to an accountant to get my tax done. I don't go there to talk about the office bitching and the affairs.

Yeah, they will probably lift against the Cowboys too. Hoping it's a draining battle.

I just want whoever plays the storm, to beat the storm. That is the team I want to play the least in a grand final.

Just wondering how many think we would have beaten the Cowboys this weekend ?
Even as a True Believer , I'd have some doubts playing understrength up there , so glad we nailed the Raiders .
But am confident in Sydney in a fortnight .

We would have been playing penrith had we lost. Travelling away to Nth queensland or melbourne were my biggest worries though, glad we dont have to do that.

Storm lose bustling forward for season
Melbourne Storm - September 14, 2016 - 1:22 pm0
Melbourne Storm forward Nelson Asofa-Solomona has been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to injury.

Asofa-Solomona dislocated his left elbow in a training drill at Storm’s Tuesday morning session, the injury will see him ruled out for the remainder of the year and the possibility of New Zealand selection for the end of year Four Nations tour.

Storm Football Director Frank Ponissi said; “Nelson’s injury is bitterly disappointing for him and the team, particularly with the impressive form he has shown this season.

“While we are disappointed to lose Nelson, a feature of our team this season has been our depth and the resilience of the players to come into the side and play their role. We have no doubt whoever replaces Nelson, will come in and do just that.”
