Beat me to it....dogs are just about dusted for the year I rekon,
I want a win in the first week of the finals, week off, then play in the gf qualifier. That gets a lot harder when you play the best teams. Its still a hard path even for the best teams. And If you think any player would prefer to play any team your tripping. Every player in the game would prefer to navigate an easier path to grand final glory.
I think the hero talk of play anyone and beat everyone is nonsense. I do care who we play. I dont want to match up against a cowboys side firing, i would much prefer go a Canberra side without one of their best players.

I'm getting a minor premier's 2016 tat on my neck. They were booked out till like mid-September but had a cancellation and can squeeze me in Friday arvo to get inked up.

I don't have a "play anyone, beat anyone" attitude.
I just don't see the point of putting so much focus on who we play in week 1 of the finals.
If we do "avoid" the teams you're looking to avoid in the first week, there's a good chance that's who will be playing in the third week, anyway.

I think that was tongue in cheek from HB but if it's there to win why would you not go for it, I know it's not the real deal or major prize but I would still be proud of getting it this year even if everyone forgets about it the next week can feel good about it until finals kick off
