I'll tell you something or someone that I thought got us through in the end, that run by Bukuya! I was really down & disappointed before he did that then just started to get my hopes up again.

I went to both semis.

First one I bused it with my brother from Matraville.

Second one I drove.

I love my finals footy, but if I’m honest, it’s a mission to get to that stadium.

I can see why a casual fan would just watch it on the telly.

Beer and food lines were horrible. Men’s toilets weren’t much better. You even had to queue at the top of the isle to get back to your seat.

They weren’t even massive crowds. 25k and 19k.

Yeah, easily. I'm pretty sure it was in the same set as the field goal too, so it was a crucial play.

NRL player ratings scored chad a 9, moylan 8.5 and maloney a 3! Hahaha

The one that surprised me was a 5 for DWZ. I thought he looked dangerous.

That run was incredible and IMO saved the game for us - boogs is getting back to the strong form he showed early season

It's been said before but the best way to see AFL is live. There's stuff happening all over the field that doesn't translate to TV. Rugby League on the other hand translates perfectly to television, most of the action is happening within an area that can be framed effectively.

Not saying that NRL isn't better live as well, just that it's more suited to TV than AFL.

Live gives you atmosphere at NRL but unless you have good seats yea the view can suck and TV has it all over it in that regard but League has been televised for decades, not a new challenge for attendance

What a game that was but I was & am so pleased we got that over the line! It wont be good if Galls out next week aswell though. In all honesty, what happened in that 2nd half compared to our 1st? Did Penrith just step up a notch or did we just take the game too lightly from our 1st half? Mind you, I thought there were a few more rough calls in that 2nd half, tbh one of the major ones what their 2nd try, I honestly thought that was actually double movement. We got the win & held on so thats the main thing.

We have been ****ting the bed in second halfs all year, I deadset don't know what is wrong with us or what Flanno is telling them at half time. I said that the pennies will get a try second half and we need to handle it. We didnt handle it and from there fell apart. Credit to us for pulling it together in the last 10 mins to get the win though while under immense pressure.

Momentum is a hell if a drug.

The timing of it really got me. It was when we had done a lot of tackling and just needed to play down their end of the field. There was also an attacking play close the the line where he hit it up and should have just put it through the hands as we had an overlap.
