He's 5 games into this role , we need to cut him some slack, the whole team was off today . Way more upside than not , still produced some nice touches tho , i will judge him on the whole season .

It’s actually a massive problem
Yeah I think it is too. I actually think part of the problem is he is so fatigued by the way he plays it makes him kick not as well. Would be good if someone else could take over. No idea who though.

I like Hynes & been a good purchase for us but everyone has their downfalls, his downfall certainly is his goalkicking. Goals will win us games against the top teams, we could have so many more points this year if he'd been kicking better.
he ahs been working hard on that
hopefully it all clicks

A weakness maybe but a downfall?
He’s not going to get dropped for his goal kicking it won’t be his downfall

Not his fault we don’t have a better kicker.

I like Talakai at centre but are there any decent centres available who can kick? Maybe we need to buy someone…

Along with Dale.

His shittest game so far in our colours.

But if that’s his shittest game.
We have bought the best half in the nrl.

(Minus the goal kicking)

Just with those kicks from the sidelines. The bloke was probably distracted from all the Shelia's throwing him their numbers.

I like his general play kicking, really measured and hits it sweetly without much effort. nearly always gives our chases a chance unless it's a full on clearing kick and lands them in some awkward positions where we can compete for the ball or force an error.

some big 40/20 attempts too one of which resulted in an error frrom the Tigers

he ran the ball a bunch which I like, opportunities will come from that and he doesn't go into his shell despite some errors. doesn't just fob the responsibility off to someone else

goal kicking needs to be sorted. Trindall can't be brought in just for that though and won't work from the bench . Katoa or Kennedy might be next choice but don't see that happening other than backup or if Hynes is really struggling to slot them in a game.
Katoa would try to make it too sexy. Would always have to include impact with the goal posts and/or the crossbar.

At least all the misses were doing the same thing ( slightly hooking at last minute). Hopefully an easier fix than if they were all over the place.

His kicking is 9/10 away from home and 5/14 at home.
2 of those games in atrocious conditions

He hits them nice, we just love scoring outwide
That’s a nice way of saying 14 out of 24.. we’re just lucky none of these games we lost due to the kicking

I'm not fussed about goal kicking. I'm all about what ya do to score the try leading up to it. He's passing that test.

Amazing what the media perceive. Judge Greg Alexander gave Nicho 2 points in the Dally Ms yesterday.

We all know that Nicho didn't have his best game yesterday, didn't feature much in our own 3-2-1. so not sure how Brandy gave him 2 points.

And I know this is not Dale's thread but look at this one. You only get three choices on this one so there must have been some shitty locks on the weekend.

2 guys who we all love and our best players, by their own admission probably, had not their best games on Sunday but the media think otherwise.
