Amazing what the media perceive. Judge Greg Alexander gave Nicho 2 points in the Dally Ms yesterday.

We all know that Nicho didn't have his best game yesterday, didn't feature much in our own 3-2-1. so not sure how Brandy gave him 2 points.
I swear they check the super coach points &run with it.

And I know this is not Dale's thread but look at this one. You only get three choices on this one so there must have been some shitty locks on the weekend.

2 guys who we all love and our best players, by their own admission probably, had not their best games on Sunday but the media think otherwise.

Gus said it perfectly in his pod. The media doesn't care about football they want the soap opera behind it.

Ask most "journos" about DCE hitting a 40/20 they'll hope its a new tik tok vid where he eats 40% ground cinnamon to 20% ground cumin mix.

3 to Ramien and 1 to Kennedy. I agree with those. But Katoa I thought deserved at least a point.
I’d say Katoa or McInnes (I was pretty split on those two) and I’d give a point to three or four (maybe even more) other guys ahead of Hynes too

To add to above actually, it’s also not a big concern because look at Storm and Penrith also, not all 4 spine can have big games every week. Although Pap somehow still got 2 votes like Nicho this week when he also probably didn’t deserve them.

He wasn't even our best half in my opinion, I gave a point to moyza ahead of katoa just because I thought he came up with some very nice plays and touches

Agreed mate. I don't understand how anyone could think that Nicho was in the top 3-4 halfbacks on the weekend.

I know there are stats guru’s on this forum, so maybe they can confirm??
With Nicho’s misses, taking a stab in the dark, I reckon he misses minimum 70% to the left

Even though it wasn’t his best game, I can still see why he gets Dally M points. He is involved in everything, still massive stats, and with the defence so focused on him, the others are free to roam (like with Barba in 2016).

I hope he doesn’t get tired out by the Cronulla bubble. He spends so long on the field after the game taking selfies and signing, looks exhausted by the end. And everywhere you look there are selfies with him, every trip to the mall must be running the gauntlet. Hopefully people can give him a bit of space too.

His defence is a concern, definitely needs a lot of work on it. Every game is a rollercoaster ride with this kid, just needs better consistency for a better all round game

Kid is a gun
Just needs a good halves partner to fully unlock his potential.
Hes trying to do everything on his own at the moment.

I don't buy into this at all, we are attacking very well as a team

A new half back won't help with his defense, will however help with the kicking game

Both moylan and Brailey put in a terrible kick each yesterday

Braileys was out of dummy half - because Hynes had been tackled on the 5th
