Dunno he's killing in attack yet but his defence has been brilliant
His ball playijg hasnt been “brilliant” but his running games there, and i agree regarding his defence. Hes been huge in defence.

People complaining about him getting dally m points because he doesnt have a dozen try assists, only because they are looking at supercoach scores….hynes is doing more than most of the team.

When the attack clicks, **** me theres gunna be some points scored

I think they are looking at attacking stats in general, but yeah. Hynes getting 6 was suspect round 1 but I'm fine with it this round, he was my second best.

But these people forget the NRL is a 2 way game.

While Hynes hasnt been on fire (which is scary cos he was ****in good on friday) his defence has been crazy on both games.

He and Ramien nullified both Crichton and RTS in both games. Hynes also doing the bulk of the kicking and plenty of ball running also.

Probably correct regarding the first week but he definitely earnt the lions share of points in game 2

Nailed every conversion (some tough) and slotting that field goal made us alot more comfortable in that game that we probably deserved to be considering the first half and getting super lucky with the Kikau no try.

Whether a player is winning the game for us with or without the ball does it really matter? We are winning - lot's of way we can go about making that happen.

If Hynes had never shown anything historically with the ball I would still have my concerns but we know that isn't the case and that he is more than capable should the situation and need arise to put on a big play or 2.

Having a half that can defend like Nicho is right now is one less gap on the field we have to worry about plugging or covering for. Saving a try can be as good as scoring one

The field goal in the 79th minute made us a lot more comfortable?

People are pulling up his Fox Sports stats
1 line break assist, no try assists

But NRL has him on
3 line break assists, 2 try assists

If you're watching you know him putting Teig through a hole to then tip on to Trindall was plenty of good work by Hynes

Also **** Fox for scoring him like that and costing a heap of SC points

There probably shouldn't be multiple sources of stats but what do you do if that one single source isn't recording stats correctly?

Chad Towsend had a big game, only 1 missed tackle, line break, try assist, , repeat set, try + the winning field goal but he only got 3 Dally M Points.

Who had a bigger influence on their respective games?

Also helps to get Dally M points if you make your errors in the first 20 and do your good stuff in the final 20.

Defensive stalwart Nicho Hynes missed 4 tackles in the first 15 minutes, but none after that (according to nrl.com).

"I usually don't care, but thanks for the tip." said Ruan Sims.

Chad won the game in the final 20 minutes and didn't have a missed tackle in the game.

Nicho could have screwed up 2 penalty touch finders and still would have bagged all the Dally M points

Chad won that game for his team as much or more than Nicho did for the Sharks

Hynes, Chad, Robbo
I swear the less hair you have the more you get screwed outta Dally M points

Hang on there's a knock at my door
