Andrew Johns has a point but it begs the question - why did they pick him for Game 1 if this was their concern???
I know we won last night. But the Nicho and Moylan combination is too inconsistent for me.
It works well against the bottom teams, but not against the top teams.
Ironically for all the "he's not a half back" crowd, it was probably his best game at being a half back. He controlled things, kicked to corners and pretty much kicked the ball to perfect spots in attack.Gee, some of you guys are tough to please.
I thought he played a pretty good game. Goal kicking wasn't great granted, but otherwise I don't see anything wrong with his performance. A couple of try assists, a try, a great (no) try celebration and steered us around the park without overplaying his hand.
What else do you want from a halfback?
Nah man his kicking game last night screams bad game management to me, when you have the opposition fighting to get out of their own half most of the game it's just pathetic if you ask meHe was dreadful
Only had a try, 3 assists, a linebreak and 3 linebreak assists along with an almost perfectly balanced kicking game
Dreadful
Correct , all him and Fittler and Alexander are doing now is arse covering .Andrew Johns has a point but it begs the question - why did they pick him for Game 1 if this was their concern???
I like how they keep pointing to the Cows finals game as proof Nicho doesn't stand up in big games. Shows they believe the narrative more then reality.Andrew Johns has a point but it begs the question - why did they pick him for Game 1 if this was their concern???
Acting like losing to the cows was particularly shameful when they gave them coach of the year and were raving most of the season about how awesome they were...I like how they keep pointing to the Cows finals game as proof Nicho doesn't stand up in big games. Yep. Especially considering Cows were tipped by many to be top 2 or 3 teams this year.Acting like losing to the cows was particularly shameful when they gave them coach of the year and were raving most of the season about how awesome they were...
Those numbers are Tiger'ed though... You've got to run those stats through the Tiger-2-first grade conversion matrix to get a proper NRL standard equivelantHe was dreadful

Happy to support that he wasn't that terrible with the ball, but you can't invoke SC as a way of showing if a player was good.Ironically for all the "he's not a half back" crowd, it was probably his best game at being a half back. Only scored 90 supercoach points last night, must have had a bad game.

And to hit them repeatedly this year.It takes a lot of skill to hit the uprights from 30m+
Lol tbh I have no idea how they even measure itSupercoach
Tricky was playing though so not fair to judge them losing to us playing with cheat codes on.Moses was picked for the Blues and his team have lost to top 8 sides as well BUT also to bottom 8 sides
Eels lost to us earlier in season too
