He can still be the dominant half at 5-8 and steer the team. Needs an organiser and game manager to help him. He'd be dangerous like Munster

Why don’t you understand that that’s what he and Fitz want.

He wants to be the main guy , he’s being paid to be the main guy and he needs to be because he’s our best player.
The main guy ? There is no such position

And at what cost if that’s even the case

It’s a team full of 13 players - for him to be the “main” guy he needs assistance in areas so he can do less robin and more Batman

- again read his own words about how he best like to play, it’s simple… or in your case just burn him out because he’s the main guy

Lucky Penrith don't have a main guy, might not have won two premierships.
Nah just a top 5 fullback
Top 2 forward pack
Top 2 dummy half
Top 3 backline

When they won those two premierships

Does the main guy have to be only a 7, you got 6's who were the dominant half (if thats what main guy is supposed to mean) who led teams to grand final victories. Look at Lockyer, he had Shane Perry at 7

What’s it got to do with the Sharks?
Thought that was pretty obvious.

Not at all but as has been said a million times, it's where Nicho wants to play and where the coach wants him to play. We just extended him on big coin.

Why can't some of you see it isn't changing?

And are you suggesting Shane Perry was a good player?

Let Nicho have the 7 on his back, just like Gal had 13. He can have his hands on the ball as much as he wants, but I think we need to introduce a game manager and another half with a kicking game.

I don't disagree mate, I'm on the record as wanting Trindall in the team.

Won't change the way Nicho plays though.

Hynes plays both roles already, we have a genuine halfback who is ready to go who can help him manage games and also steer the team if Nicho isnt firing or gets shut down by opposition.

We will not win a premiership with the current halves combo, come finals Nicho will be the main target to pressure and shut down. I do like Moylan as a player, but he is not going to step up and grab the steering wheel if Nicho lets go, he might try, and then steer us all over the road though because he's not use to it haha.

Every main guy you guys are talking about still needs a halves partner that can do their part of game management also, help take the workload and pressure off

Again, I don't disagree. Just can't see Nicho changing how he plays.

Moylan will accidently do a hip drop helping Teig in a tackle against Manly, and misses a few weeks. Trindall moves into 7 and Hynes to 6, Hynes carves up and gives Freddy a hard on and is picked as blues 5-8🔮
