I'm having nightmares about Cromartie on the Raiders.

He wants big money, and if Nnamdi leaves Al might just give it to him. Only problem is that he can't/won't tackle and doesn't like contact.

I'd kill someone for the Bears to have Smith, Nicks and Manningham. Solid WR corp with a lot of versatility. If anything at WR you should be chasing a speedy deep threat, not a possession guy like Plax.

Manningham fills the deep threat role fine. IMO we have all main areas covered with our three. Manningham as deep threat, Smith as the possession, 3rd down go to guy, and Nicks who is just an all around threat. Plax can go shot himself in the leg again.

We need O-line, and LB's. Not a washed up dumb ass WR.

Yeah, I have no idea why the Giants would want Plax back.

On another note, you pricks got Mark Herzlich as a UDFA. I wanted him as a Raider in the worst way. He'll defs make the final roster and have an NFL career.

I can't say I know much about him. Was the cancer the only reason he went undrafted? Always good to give a LB a look in, it is no surprise that it has been our weakest point in D for quite a few years.

Before the cancer, he was rated as a first round pick.

He only ran a 4.92 40 which hurt him, but he's one of those guys who's much quicker in games than in workouts. And he still moves well, tackles great and can cover. He's a perfect MLB for a 4-3, or even a Will LB.

A good football brain can make a 4.92 player a 4.2 player. Thanks for the run down. Looked at his stats the thing that did stick out to me was the amount of intercepts and broken up passes he makes for a LB.

No problem. One of my many cousins goes to Boston College, so he knows the way he plays pretty well.

In other news...http://www.patspulpit.com/2011/7/28/2299910/analysis-of-the-patriots-trade-for-dl-albert-haynesworth

Holy ****. The Patriots got a lot scarier. Tuck I hate the bastards.

If anyone can make Fat Albert fall in line, it's Belichick. Remember a certain diva WR?

They have also got Ocho!

Kolb to Arizona, Rodgers-Cromartie and 2nd round pick the other way. How the **** did the eagles pull off that deal? Cards got robbed!

Asante Samuel and DRC as the CB's will be so funny to watch. Both scared of contact and bite on routes like crazy. Throw quick screen passes to big WR's against those guys and they have no chance. But on the other hand, both can be pick 6 machines at times. Very hot and cold DB's at the Eagles.

In other Bears news it looks like we have signed Roy.E.Williams from the Cowboys. Sigh, another crap WR. Only thing that makes this slightly attractive is that Roy racked up 1,300 yards and 8 TD's in Martz' system at Detroit.

Bears are also in talks with Braylon/Mike Sims Walker. If we could sign one of them the Roy signing doesn't look bad at all. Just hope Roy isn't our #1. Could be a solid #2.

And the Eagles land Nnamdi!!!!

Their shaky secondary just turned into a flat out beastly secondary. DRC as the nickle coming off the edge putting pressure on the QB will be crazy. Not to mention the more opportunities Asante will get for INT's.

You mad dier?

I wouldn't said mad. Concerned would be the most appropriate word.

For god sakes Jerry Angelo and the rest of the Bears front office, GET CUTLER SOME O-LINE HELP AND BRAYLON EDWARDS!!!

Instead Jerry's too busy wasting money on Marion freaking Barber.

Yeah, Giants need some help there. No where near as bad as you guys, but help none-the-less. Instead we are worried about Plax. ****ting me mate, I can relate to your pain.

And to make it worse we are unwilling to give Kreutz an extra $500,000 on top of our previous offer! He has been our rock on the O-Line for the past 13 years and this is how we treat him!? GTFO Jerry Angelo.

Lucky Cutler has some wheels on him.

How many times did the poor lad get sacked last year though!?

The game against the Giants still haunts me. In saying that though, Jay won't have to score as many points as last year with our defense improving. If we can get some production out of Amobi Okoye and Golhston (now he's back in the 4-3 where he showed promised at Ohio State) our D-Line could be beastly.

Still a solid LG/RT and a possession WR away from being legit SB contenders.

Without Kreutz yr O-Line may be even worse this year (if that was possible). And this in a division with Clay Matthews, Jared Allen and the Hydra D-Line they're building in Detroit.

I'm just hoping Cutler stays alive long enough to face Oakland this year. I want LaMarr or Tommy Kelly to have the honour of putting him on IR.
