Hey, how is this for tragic: I follow the Sharks in the NRL (0 premierships), the Waratahs in the Rugby (0 premierships) and the Swans in the AFL (1 premiership after 76 years, thank God!) and in the NFL I support, wait for it, the Cincinnati Bengals! What is wrong with me, am I some kind of masochist? Please feel free to offer any kind of Trauma/Grief counselling or better still - pray the Sharks win a title!

Remember when the Bengals lost the Super Bowl to the 49ers in the 90's, heartbreaking - very Sharks like in fact!

I have no idea what is wrong with the Bengals this year... there offense is no where near there standards.
With Palmer playing very below average
and Chad Johsnon ( or Ocho Cinco what ever his name is this week) has done SFA.

But i reckon your problem may be in your offensive line, Palmer has had no time and been sacked 14 times in his last 2 games.
Last year they were a good team to watch and the year before that as well...

Well, as traumatic as it can be, I reckon that having the guts to stick by your team, whoever they may be, despite the lack of success is a great character builder! It's easy to go for a club that enjoys frequent success but I don't think it's potentially as rewarding. I did get alot of joy out of the Swans premiership and I'm only a casual supporter of AFL so imagine how good it will be when the Sharks bring home the trophy to the Shire!
