where abouts are you Sharkster?

i lived in Newy from 01-09 and some of the **** you see around the traps especially King street on a sat night, i'm really surprised stuff like this has taken this long to hit the tabloids.

i'm not really surprised because, in Newcastle, with a history as a working class city, the footy team is a really big thing for a large number of the population. after BHP closed, its like the footy team is the last connection Novacastrians have with the outside world. As if their local paper, or the local constabulary were going to rain on that parade.

I live in newcastle but support the mighty sharks and I can tell you that the Knights get the softest run ever from the media. Its a joke what the papers and TV dont report about this bunch and its been going on for years. Gidley and the rest of them should be investigated.
Sharks forced to lose Bird,Seymour and others for far less.

I've worked in bars and clubs all over Sydney and overseas and this is just a reflection of our society.
Plenty of wide-eyed sports people in those bars too.
Most people I know have at least tried something and the majority have tried everything.
Its a stupid thing to do when you are in the public eye but personally I don't think it is that bigger deal.
I would rather a guy at my club that sold a few pills to his mates than a guy who thows a glass at his mrs face.
