The way manly are playing I don't see it happening. Here is to hoping Broncos come out firing out of desperation and win and the gold coast takes advantage and makes it back to back loses for manly. That would mean we have to beat Melb and NQ though.:hoping

Think Williams is very doubtful and the two hookers they use are also a bit iffy. They should still have enough to beat Broncos at Brookvale though!

It is possible that we can leapfrog both Manly/Souths and also that we could be passed by the Tigers/Broncos/Raiders, but the most likely scenarios are that we finish 5th/6th (home final) or 4th (away final against Bulldogs). At this point it is very likely that we play in Sydney, or a remote chance that we play in Townsville or Brisbane (if we slip to 7th/8th) and a very remote chance that we play in Melbourne (if we finish 3rd).

The safe money would be on a Sydney final.

We need to get this 5th spot. Whoever comes 8th will be the weakest team in the finals unlike past seasons and I would rather not have a first week elimination game against brisbane.

Tigers aren't gonna be that easier a task. Tigers are one of the better finals teams in the top 8.

I don't think any system with 8 teams is perfect. I'd prefer a top 5 or 6 but we all know that 8 teams in the finals gives more games for TV and keeps more teams in the comp for longer.

Our forwards will dominate theirs and then they'll get cheap penalties to help them out of their own end so that they don't even need forwards anyway. Once near our try line they'll pull some flukey touch football crap out of their arses and beat us. Probably a few massive random calls in their favour too. Can't stand playing them.
