Sounds like the Snowden thing won't be over for a while, the interview shows Tinkler is both smart and ruthless... though I imagine the current Knights team would feel very unhappy and uncertain reading that.

Hopefully Snowden realises quickly that two years here is a pretty safe option. As ben said above, I agree he has also been used to an extent.

I guess even if Tinkler gets his new board, he will still need a 75% vote, and that will be tough after he has carried on like a pork chop.

If I was a knights member I would be really worried at the moment.

If they go the no confidence route its going to get real bad for them real quick.

Members will vote no confidence push out old board.
Tinkler will then push a number of yes men onto the board.
This new board will accept any deal put to them no matter what it is.

Tinkler could end up buying the knights for $1 and have the rights to do anything he likes with them and use the profits as he sees fit.

My bet is that Singo is up to his elbows as well dont be surprised if Tinkabell does get the knights they end up playing out of both CC as well as newy or just CC nothing will stop him.

I will say though Knights fans are the own worst enemy I had to explain what Tinkler was doing to one of the boys at work he didn't understand then said I was talking BS kept on going on about the 100million so I printed all I could find told him to go out to the Lab and read it all he came back saying **** that fat prick I laughed so hard.

But the problem is most newy members/fans will believe in Tinkabell because all they see is $$$$.

Knights would just be a tax write off for him. He would not have the best interests at heart.

I like his "local players should be playing here" but he wants Bennet but knows the crap team wont win premierships, so what? Sack all the Knights juniors that have stayed on? End of the day, if u wanna win a premiership, u do need to source a few out of towners. Not bring all the local kids home. A team needs diversity, and players who've played under different structures and trained different under various coaches.

It wont seem like it now for the Knights, but this is a blessing in disguise, that jerk would have disgraced the club in more ways than 1. He was already doing it b4 he owned the team, imagine wat he woulda done once he was in

Tinkler wants the knights. The board wouldnt give it to him so he needs to get a new board elected that supports his view so he throws up the `I`ll bring back the local juniors` line which pulls at the heart strings of all the knights members who he needs to vote the old board out. this gets him in a more powerfull position to negotiate a better deal for himself. Supporting local juniors is all well and good but what happens when you have two great players ie Johns/Kimmorly , someones got to go. what if your local juniors arent up to first grade ? You have to import. Time will tell what Tinklers agenda is, hopefully for the NRL and the knights their members arent blinded by $$$ and think things thru. Tinkler reminds me of a kid with no friends `` maybe i`ll get someone to play with me if i have lotsof toys.

Tinkler wants local juniors back, but only the likes of Idris and Snowden. I'm sure if Simmo were a local Newy lad he'd be waiting a while for Tinkler's call.

That fat spastic colon is worth a hell of lot of money, if he ends up owning the knights it will be a travesty to the other clubs in the game, where he can offer big time player and coaches’ blah blah amount of money

On the other hand. I kind of like his attitude he is willing to offer a large amount of money although for reasons other to back an NRL team. I would hope we would have a similar offer if we had a similar situation and the club was looking for a private buyer
