Good day for the Knights. The NRL would never let rugby league die in Newcastle, don't know what their supporters are so worried about.
Thinking there is more to it than him just pulling out ,may hoping the members will vote no confidence in the board,by puting the snowden and iddris stories in the papers over the weekend he is saying ,see what i can bring with me if you give me your support

If anybody who votes no to the proposal tonight, not only do they spit in the face of the club but they also spit in the face of the people they called their heroes.
If this club dies, it won't be just us hurting it'll be guys like ET,Gavin Miller,the Sorensens etc. who bled for this club and gave everything they had to this club.

He'll be back. This is just a powerplay to get himself a better deal and get rid of the current Knights board. Our problem is whether he's back this week or next year. When is the Newcastle Board up for election again? They're going to get hammered by their members for letting this guy go.

I believe that the current Knights board are totally within their rights to want more discussions. If you read the fine print it was a steamroll rather than a purchase.
I would tread very carefully if I was a Knights supporter as often the man with a sugar coated lolly in hand is the one that wants to screw you!!!

Only 100 members needed to force a vote. That's incredibly low.
It sounds to me that the club are doing the appropriate Due Diligence with this deal which is sensible. I certainly wouldn't be too critical of that if I were a member, despite what other feelings I might have of the board.
It's hard to imagine the NRL letting them go under, that's for sure.

Let's see how gullible Knights fans are now. I reckon they'll be blinded by the dollar signs and Tinkler knows it. They'll get their just desserts. I just hope it affects our club as little as possible.
