Happy Back to the Future Day everybody. Sadly, it looks like the cubbies aren't gonna make the World series though. Take a miracle from here, but it probably always was a year or so too soon for this team. Go Cubs Go.

2016 is just the year that keeps on giving fairytales

Both teams are fairytales. Indians have underachieved for 4 decades, sure it's nothing on the Cubs century of failure, but still pretty long.

Apparently there's a petition for Charlie Sheen to reprise his role of "Wild Thing" Rick Vaughn to throw the first pitch in the World Series. I'd put this in the "very unlikely" category here, but **** I hope it happens.

Over 174 years of combined championship droughts, and the most shocking thing about that is Charlie Sheen is still alive to reprise a character from the 90's

To be fair the Indians have never had the payroll to work with to build a great team. Hope they get up.

Out of curiosity was the moneyball style the reason you chose them?

Nah I chose them because at the time Grant Balfour played for them, I sorta casually followed them before that because of the colours, but when Balfour became their closer I started following it a lot more. I've played baseball since I was a kid so I've always watched the game.

I really liked the movie though.
