Any Baseball fans here new season has started and Redsox are 6-3. I'd ask that anyone claiming to be a Yankees fan stay out.

Haven't watched an Angels Game for a few years, but with their roster you'd think they'd make a world series sometime. One thing about mlb is it's kinda hard to follow any team but ones own.

I'm an A's fan. 5-4 to start the year with 4 of the wind coming by shutout. These young pitchers are on fire.

I don't know a lot about the game but I'll watch a bit of it now I have Foxtel. My Stepdad is from Minnesota and I went to a game there in 1991, the year they won the World Series with Kirby ****ett.

So I guess I'll take an interest in the Twins.

I play baseball and really enjoy it but I find it a bit like soccer: fun to play, boring to watch.

Having said that, I've decided to back the Cincinnati Reds, just to stay loyal to The Bengals. Don't know if they are any good but they did get off to a 4-0 start to the season. Think they may have lost one or two since then.

Who do you play for?

Played a couple of seasons at Scarborough Park in Rockdale. Problem was I wasn't much chop and it was when I was in my early 20's, so I was always turning up on a Sunday morning with a severe hangover. Still good fun though.

Down in the Southern League? Good club down there, very stable. I'm over in the North/West league with Oakville Raiders.

Yep the Cronulla-Sutherland Minor League Baseball Association. Good comp, plenty of teams mainly from around the Shire, a few from St George and one or two from around Bankstown.

Had my first game at pitcher today, went OK. Only walked one batter so accuracy was pretty good. I got his a bit but my defence let me down with a ton of errors, mis-fileds and dropped catches. Oh well, that's lower grade baseball, I guess!

Hit one massive drive into left field that went over the home run fence - but just outside the foul line! D'oh!

Grant Balfour was designated for assignment by the Rays. Looks like that's it for him, hard seeing him get picked up somewhere else.

We're having air conditioning installed at home on Friday so I have to take the day off and sit around twiddling my thumbs. Was hoping there'd be a game on Fox to watch but it doesn't look like there is. Bummer.
