I am the first to admit it is way overs, BUT how often are we in a position like we are now? One genuine Origin star back could seal the deal in winning a premiership.

Think you may have missed his Gist.I sort of agree to go all out for Jennings, with luck we are i reckon maybe only 1 or two players short of a real GF crack, lets keep the team and go for him for next year. The only other thing, we seem to have a pretty decent bunch of guys playing for each other and the club, we sort of seem to have a no "******** " policy so its a fine line between instant result and team moral decay i guess.

No i got the gist. To me footy is about winning premierships. With JT and Carney in the halves and our forward pack we most likely win a premiership IMO.

Anyway it ain't gonna happen and I'm sidetracking this thread which is about Jennings, sorry about that.

Of course they would - they pay way over what any of their players are worth, cos they live in a bubble with the one advantage they have over our game - a true global sport. Truth be known though - not one of their big contracts have produced anybody as good as our real stars.

Well no I dont know about that. They pay what they perceive the player is worth. They have more money so their perceptions are a little different. Its all relative, your only saying it is overs because you follow the NRL and (i assume) dont know what other RU players are getting.

Lote, Wendell and Rogers are exceptions though, but they wernt bought just for their footballing ability.

If tupuo goes to say To esl and they take his contract, maybe get Jennings but increase graham and buy aka first..
