Given Gagan's ongoing issues Flash is required imo. He's still a very good winger. Whilst our season is alive he honours his contract as far as I'm concerned.

Thats the long and short of it. Right now, the club he is contracted to needs him

Ugh. I'll ask again.

Why can't Parra just sign him for next year and be happy?

He still has a contract this year, Parra still get him for next year, his future is sorted for next year.

Can't understand the big drama.

Exactly.

I actually can't believe how we are made out to be the bad guys in this. Yeah, there may have been a bit of ****iness in the process but at the end of the day he's still our contracted player.

It annoys me how the DT just pick and choose their heroes and villains. You could see them writing up the exact same story but with the opposite parties being the good and bad guys. It'll probably happen within the next 12 months too, such is their inconsistency.

At the end of the day, it's just a negotiation that fell through. Move on.

There is a consistent player in the Parra salary cap scandal, previous roosters cap scandals, and recent cronulla cap breaches, and the current head coach at cronulla learned his trade ( and I don't mean plumbing) in the same classroom at the same times

Are you saying Canberra will be next :)

I'd be fine with barba, Feki and Val in the back 3. But we are probably going to have some injuries between them throughout the season. Further to that, our centres could go down as well. So I agree, keeping Flash would be prudent. Particularly considering we aren't out of the finals race just yet. And we shouldn't be giving up when we are still a chance. It just breeds a terrible culture.

A bit like not changing your socks regularly

I have read for a few days now that Gordon has actually quit the club (in the telegraph). Does anyone know if this is actually true, or just a case of "I read it in the tele".

the thing that strikes me is that he hasn't come out and denied it, only the club speaking on his behalf saying that he was embarrassed with the recent media speculation
Seems odd not a word has been heard directly from his mouth

He's in a really difficult place right now, 2010. Put yourself in Mick's shoes and imagine for a second whether you'd be up to making statements when there is a very real possibility you'll have to see out the remaining 5 months of a contract to play footy for hundreds of thousands of dollars a year.

Not to mention how terrible Cornish feels because DCE is delaying his backflip until the last minute

Im going to start by saying I have no idea what has really gone on with MG...

But in saying that history points to him being just a big sook.

IMHO and only my opinion ..He was disgruntled and couldn't get out of Penrith quick enough because they wouldn't play him at fullback. Its more than a co incidence that he has thrown hid teddy out of the cot because he is sharing time and back playing on the wing.

If this is the truth I say SUCK it up be a professional and play out the year.....IMHO....big cry baby

I like mick presents well, but really wish he and others would take a look at what thaiday ( I know He has his haters) has done this year I know he turned up tubby but has really shone in the Broncos team after Bennett gave him kick up the ass..

I hope Sandow is handling the positional change well. A shift from fullback to wing can take its toll, the move from half to fullback must be soul destroying.
