Just been announced on Foxsport 513 that Gordon has signed with the sharks for the next 3 seasons. Phil Gould wishes him well and said 'it's said to lose a player of his calibre'.

Seems to have a great attitude towards the game- absolutely always puts in 100% and plays with enormous intensity and intelligence. Will fit right in with what the Club is trying to build and will be a great role model for our younger backs.

this 'should' be a great signing... before the whole 'why are we replacing gardner' conversation begins...Gordon is a quality back who can play a variety of positions in the back line and will bring some genuine competition to those spots (especially fullback) ... he has big game experience (NSW SOO) and (what i like) is a guy coming form an under achieving couple years who should want to get back to career best form (rep footy)... not a high flying big signing we are paying top price for who is currently in career best form.....

guess the final decision will come down to how much he signed for... but im really happy bout this

Agreed mate, let's go hard for Gagai, get Best to sign a $1 contract like some other retiring players have done and tell him he can have an easy preseason and just be used for depth in case a marquee player gets injured etc. Like what Skando did at the Tigers a few years back.
