Mcillwrick to start with Nu off the bench.

Spend the money on retention elsewhere.

Also, losing a veteran may open the door for Lewis and Heighington to stick around.
mcilwrick? What the hell do people see in him. He is garbage and I'd be disappointed if he is our starting 9 next year

Agree. Look at what having a top tier hooker has done for us. Obviously ennis is hard to replace but we cant settle on a fringe player

They just showed a replay of ennis' try vs titans last year on 360. They ran the exact same play as the barba no try, except ennis got the ball back from gordon i think it was and scored. He even impeded the marker the same as sundays game.

Hearing this has made me very disappointed. Iv'e always liked seeing him play even when he was against us. Since he has joined us he has put in absolutely 100% effort every time, I will very much miss him next year! I am hoping he can stay on as some sort of coach for us in the upcoming years though. Above all that, lets hope we can put in some effort & send him out a winner!

I think he is a very good dummy half in the Peats mould , an excellent defender, but its just my opinion.

Just do not think Nu would be ready to play 80 in the middle. 60 minutes possibly.

Mcillwrick can cover the back row as well.

Creates funds for Bird, Holmes etc

Hopefully with this decision it gives the boys even more motivation to win the big one this year.

Could very well be a blessing in disguise

Agree with this - Ennis should play off the planet, or he could just do what he needs to do...

He's a huge competitor though so I'm hoping he goes ballistic for the rest of our run through the rest of the season and the finals.

I reckon you couldn't blame Nu for walking if Farah came to the club. I'm sure there are few other teams in the comp that would take the risk on him and promise him a place in their starting side, or at least in the 17.

This is true , would love to see Nu succeed .Always preferred him to Licha.

Its just the 80 minutes in the middle, thus the Mcillwrick thought as insurance initially.

Tiring defence in the middle is so crucial.

Huge shock for me, never had a doubt he wouldn't go around again next year. At least he's going out on his own terms and playing good footy.

This is really ****ty.

Farah or Segeyaro. Farah if we can get him cheapish for one year. He can extend the premiership window a year. Segeyaro a better medium term option.

Can't think of any other options that don't put us straight into rebuild mode.

Big no to Farah, the guy is toxic and has the attack centered around the ruck rather than from the halves, will starve Maloney and Townsend of early ball.
