just another example of our membership merch option being a failure. Had to pay excess for my items and for shipping as we all did to use our “credit”. It’s now been 27 days since I ordered 3 basic overpriced items for my daughter begrudgingly and I still haven’t received them… I sent the membership team an email about a week ago and a halfwit responded saying “hi we looked into this, the items haven’t shipped, we will let you know when they do, thanks”

What kind of a response is that? Are these people unpaid volunteers? Or school children on work experience? Shocking considering as an interstate member who doesn’t use the crappy GA ticket I get virtually no benefit to my membership of now 14 years….. think I’ll pull the pin next year. We’ve got more members than ever and head office is still a mess… don’t get it. I see Dino and Steve in business circles at times and will see them at a meeting in June, I think I’ll politely mention some of the issues in this thread with them.

So does the level of membership affect the ‘credit’ for the “cheap plastic crap”? Wondering whether I’ll get a lesser amount of credit for the $40 Sharks Starter than the $65 Shark Net. I don’t need any tickets so if that’s all the $25 extra gets me I’ll go with the $40 membership.

Spend the $25 difference at the merch store. Money still goes to club and you'll get something higher quality

Common misconception - the credit is not for the merchandise store , it is for the online Mber system stuff only .

I was talking buying the cheaper membership and using the real life money saved at the Sharks Store

So the team is playing in Brisbane this week for the only time this year, and there is no meet & greet opportunity for fans up here?

Criminal, Might well be my last year of membership.

Someone somewhere said that this might be an NRL policy (no fan meet and greets)? Not sure where I read it though, here or somewhere else.

That is a bit of a shame for “magic round”.
what’s the game for if not for the fans?

Not saying it isn't true but why on earth would the NRL say that? Would be ridiculous if true.

Bit like how security told our players to get off the ground last week against Canterbury when they were mingling with fans.

If this is the direction the game wants to take then it's forgetting its roots......disgraceful.

Players should have told security to piss off.

The term "security" is laughable anyway. Probably as qualified as the high vis who direct traffic.
