It was me that e-mailed Greg Pierce Brently - I actually spoke to him - and I'm surprised he made the comment you said he did. Not sure where you heard this from but he was adamant that the findings were not going to be made public as they weren't in the public interest. He has continually said that the report was not to evaluate Stuart Raper's job and this was the only thing that the media seemed interested in - once Ricky was signed on as coach, he never received a single phone call from any media circles asking for details of the report. I also hope that we never see another report like that again and everything so far has been very positive with Ricky at the helm. It goes to show you in the NRL that Coaches, with the exception of Wayne Bennett, do have a use-by date and need to change clubs every couple of years to bring in fresh ideas. Raper had his time, Ricky had his time at the Roosters and after five years it was time to move on. Just because he failed in his last two years, doesn't mean he is going to fail at the Sharks - new team, new outlook, new club and new experience all add up to the Sharks easily making the finals next year. I am not saying we are going to win the comp because that would be too much to expect first up.

the board knew the writting was on the wall for raper before they decide to waste money on a review the money spent on the report should of been used to pay out rapers contract what a waste.

Thanks fellas. I suppose it doesn't matter terribly what was in the report; my curiosity got the better of me on this one. What does matter is season '07. The weeks are just dragging by as I wait impatiently to see what the sharks can do in the wake of recent changes. Every off-season is long; this one just more so.

I think the report was more a way of adding to the ease of sacking Raper, despite what they publicly say, plus also a way of shaking themselves up too. Sadly it cost them over 20k for something all of us could of told them.

BUT the thing is with the addition of Ricky, things are already looking positive, lets just hope it transfers to results on the park.

i highly, insanely think that the chances of that man even taking a little look see would be on the too hard/too impossible basket, next to the very likely basket, but not to be confused with the unusually often basket.
i really hope that in some way, shape or form that cleared every single thing up.
