For our 4th maybe 5th choice winger depending where Fitz ranks Stonestreet he’s great to have on the books. Plus can cover all backline positions.

If he could play like that every week you'd have him in over Ronnie at the moment. If I recall though he was pretty hot and cold with an extended stint.

That's a massive stretch.

I feel expectation of Hiroti was so low tonight his game was brilliance in comparison. But really it was nothing special.

That sort of performance always reminds me of the time Jono Wright did a simple interchange of pass w/ his winger (Ayshford of all people?) leading to a try. We'd been so starved of moments like this that this place nearly hailed it as the greatest moment in Sharks history. :ROFLMAO:

Edit: Still had a good game though (y)

Ronnie obvs has the higher ceiling and we've seen what he's capable of, but he's also been badly out of form almost all season.

I don't think Ronnie saves the try on Campbell Graham or taps the ball back in for Tricky's second try last night.

Hopefully he comes back fresh and hungry after this little enforced break.

Has 16 tries for the year
Wouldn't call that badly out of form

He's bombed at least 5. IMO he's playing nowhere near his best footy. Still rate him, just want him to get back to his best.

Don't disagree that he is capable of more but if you compare his numbers to last year, probably his best season, it's pretty interesting.

Has played 6 less games this year for:
1 less try
Equal try assists
5 less line breaks
His metre per game are about 17 less but would wait until end of year to see where that finishes.

By his & Sione's standard sure. A lot others be lucky to get close to the ones they "bomb".

Ronnie has Bombed a few easy ones this year.

He may well have scored a few others wouldn’t have as well

I’d like him to keep scoring the impossible ones but also ice the ones he should icing (I’m greedy like that)

Like people want him to pipe down until they want him fired up.

He has let just as many in though. He has been out two weeks and the left side defense has improved those 2 weeks
You don't think that could be due to Moylan and Teig not being there... You know the 2 that were missing the tackles.
Man sometimes this forum can do my head in with the mental gymnastic some of you pull to critises a player.
