3 Prior great events. 3) Elbow on Thurston 2) Semi in Canberra 1) First hit in GF on Bromich, set the tone and slumped him to his haunches.

Adios and well done, fine exit also.

He came here as complete rubbish, then ended up dominating some games when he really needed to, then his form just tapered right off again. Thanks for the memories. Felt like he could have just been another nothing player that went out the back door but instead he really gave it his all.

Loved this guy. His form towards the back end of 2016 was key to us making and winning the gf imo

Was joint player of the year with Fifita in our maiden premiership year so that says a lot.
His hold up and drive defence in 2016 was excellent (and has been a big part missing from his game of late)

All of the above .
Would NOT have won comp without his humongous effort against Raiders .

Will always love this legend. Slowed down the past season but worked his absolute arse off to get better after a slow start. Go rip it up in England Matty.

Will miss the big lanky fella

I won't, not after 2019s effort.
I don't like watching our GF players suck - him going to England where I don't have to watch him suck for us, or play against us, is my ideal result.

I don't want to think back to the GF squad in the future and have bad **** to think about half the players, better he just leave now than play another garbage season for us.

I remember going down to Shark Park before our GF win, must have been 2014/2015 perhaps, with my young fellow.

Back then, some days you could just walk into Shark Park and walk on the field. My young fellow loved this and he'd take a ball and we'd kick it around, prepared to leave if someone came along.

But no one ever did.

One day we were there and the NSW Cup side were training. One of the trainers saw us and invited my son into the change room to meet some of the guys. Nathan Stapleton was in there and also was Matt Prior.

I think we had just signed him and he hadn't set the world on fire at this stage, in fact he was playing pretty **** and languishing in the reserves.

On this day when we walked in, I remember seeing him in the corner, everyone else was upbeat and laughing but Matt was a forlorn figure like the whole world was falling around him.

Little did we know he'd one day play out of his skin and win another GF.

Rings a bell. He'd just had the chef's special at the Toup Kitchen if I remember correctly.

I seem to get a bad case of ring sting after eating at the Toup Kitchen. Anyone else get this symptom?

That'd be from the 15kg can of RingSting Flanno sold me. Has lasted 8 years so far. He's not talking to me anymore and there's only about 8 tablespoons left.

Industrial strength, and the real deal. When a customer says "back up!" the wait staff just laugh and say "there's no such thing as backed up around here".

I wouldn’t be eating at the Toup Kitchen now, had two bad abdominal attacks a week ago and had an ultrasound that revealed gallstones.

Bye bye gall bladder I’m afraid.
