Didn’t think he was that great…a couple of quality passes. However, missed loads of tackles, terrible kick (yes only one kick!) not to mention another terrible 5th play option (which I do not even know what he was trying to do)

This was a good game in comparison to most of Moylans games…..however still think trindle adds more, from defence to the strongest general play kicker in and strongest goal kicker

I think Moylan is ok to an extent but like I said in the other thread, for last tackle kick options and goal kicking we may need to go with Trindall.

I’d like a 7 that can control the game, not over play his hand and put the right kick in on the last tackle. It’s asking a lot of for a young 7 but I think it is what the team needs.

Same as last week. Good moments and bad moments, ran the ball, got involved with the game on the line.

Grind what gears ? He had a terrible 79 minutes lol. Did he even kick more then once ?

You have low standards to be happy with that performance. We lose by a mile without Hynes

Didn’t know his performance was defined by kicks.

He played well. He was strong with the ball in hand, he even made a couple of breaks as well. He was strong in defence also.

The most important part of his play is his ball playing. He’s all class, he’s the perfect link man and that’s exactly the role he, and our five-eighth in this team is playing.

Rubbish. The bloke doesn’t know what he’s about to do half the time lol that’s the most important part because that’s the only part to his game apart from being able to tackle

Would love to see that involvement from the first minute rather then waiting till the last minute

Looks to me like Moylan is a bit confused as to what his role is with Nicho on the field. I’m confident Fitz will sort that out and Moylan will work into being more involved…. We are 2 games …

I’m interested to know what you would define as a good game for him?

Not likely to be dropped based on Fitz’s pressa.

We can probably cover his lack of long kicks when Wade plays, as Wade can take some of the pressure off of Nicho, but the problem now days is that Wade hasn’t been playing.
Maybe we can get more long kicks from Brailey if we stick with this halves combo (and I don’t see it changing at the moment based on the pressa).

I think we're being a bit harsh
Nicho likes working with him .
They play next to each other both sides of the ruck .
BOTH heads up players .
Give them 4-6 games together and if they gel , watch out .
Other teams WORST nightmare .
Early days BUT Moylan DOES have to work on his kicking game

I didn’t think long kicking was an issue at all. The short kicking game needs a lot of work.

Nicho made a million mistakes, but the halves did an amazing job of making space for the outside men. I think Ramien had more air in front of him today than the last two seasons combined. That’s because the spine are all firing.

What is currently wrong with the long kicking game?

It must be nice to just watch Hynes do 90% of the work and decide when you want to chime in.

In all seriousness, his execution is off more times then it’s on which does my head in, way too often we see him not knowing what he wants to do which then confuses everybody else, he use to be quick now he’s slow and I hate how he doesn’t kick because it means Hynes can be easily targeted as teams know we do not have another decent kicking option. It’s a very sht trickle effect and without Hynes tonight we get smacked
