I think it is getting to the point that no matter what argument you float, @Wiz is just not going to accept it.

He is what we call stubborn.
Accept what ? A point I don’t agree with ?
Why on earth would anyone do that,

The arguments provided thus far have been very weak imo

I don’t think the arguments have been weak mate, they’ve been rather strong I think and from a good many people.

But you are blinded by your opinion and you’re not willing to accept any points they are making.

I just hope that if Tricky is given his chance that you accept with good grace all the **** everyone will fling at you if he totally ****s up.

For the record, I would like to see Tricky given a go but at least I’m willing to hear all arguments and not be so blind with arrogance. :)

I get we can't blame one person for the teams performance, but Moylan definitely has contributed to issues within this team.

By rightly so on his dedicated page on this forum we can address it. Again, he ain't just the reason for our form, but a contribution.

Key word is “you” think, I don’t care what you think about the arguments.

On the flip side there have been even MORE people saying not good things. Which doesn’t help you… This is one of those ones where you’re trying to be the hero on some moral high ground you think you have - it’s cute

Tricky got man on the match twice out of 3 games - he outplayed Moylan in those games he’s got it in him and if he doesn’t play well it’s got nothing to do with me

Don’t be so consumed by me ; your perspective is your own it’s not better then anyone else’s

And If me being strong in my views hurts you then you’re the one with the problem

From the games I have seen of him playing NRL I would say that Trindall does have a long boot and he is alot more accurate with it this season than last season where it was erratic (in FG anyway) - doubt it would have saved us on Saturday night though.

I am pretty sure you will find that Hynes intentionally under kicks the ball in terms of height and/or depth (depending on situation) to give our chasers a chance to contest the ball.

We actually have quite a bit of success with this tactic. Another advantage of this is he rarely kicks the ball dead giving away a 7 tackle set.

Sometimes a longer kick might be called for if you are deep in your end and need to clear it out, maybe he hasn't executed those as well as he should, maybe his boot only goes so far as well.

Having said that if you are going to drill the ball up field you still need to offer some sort of kick chase and defensive line or the kick returner is just going to take easy metres or find a gap in your defense to exploit.

Can we win the comp with Moylan @ 6 ?

Could we win one with Chad Townsend?

Good point. I don't think we'll win a comp while Moylan is in the team, but there are many things to fix before putting the blame squarely on him.
We're a team of downhill skiers at the moment, and that's not Moylan's fault.
We need a good quality prop (and preferably one that stays healthy), we need to fix our defense, and need to find some backbone as a team among other things.
And that's Fitz's job.

Would like to see him get a crack sometime this season if injuries strike.
