Curious decision. Doesn't bode well for us signing a good half for next year

So apparently we're paying him 400k next year.
Sorry but that's ****house from our side. Absolutely ****house.
could be an investment if he can stay fit. Even if we can manage a trade to a team in need of a player like him, it wouldn’t be worth it on a low contract. Seems like a bit of a gamble thoughWell there’s some money we have pi#%ed up the wall in our cap
I want a refund.So apparently we're paying him 400k next year.

So we should have kept Chad.
I think that's what Snowy wanted also .
No. I just think that's how it played out and how we ended up with Moyza for another 12 months.
I would have preferred ARey (or a committed SJ), but I see a lot of upside to Trindall and more than happy to go with him and Nicho.
We've pumped about $3.2M into this investment so far with very poor returns overall. We were trying to offload him not long ago and got zero interested parties - his own manager, guys who usually talk up their product's demand regardless, even said no one was keen.
Without even the Tigers interested I gotta believe Moylan's options were us or nothing. $250k with bonuses if ya play 13+ games & negotiate from there. As soon as discussions hit the $300-350k mark you thank Matt for his time & get the social media lot to gear up the farewell facebook post.
Obviously missing out on ARey and the decision to let SJ go and not try to retain Chad put us in a position to need Moylan to hang around.
This time last year, we are telling him to look elsewhere, but after SJ’s Achilles and our hesitation on resigning him earlier in the season meant Moylan might get (and did get) a reprieve.
What I’m hoping thou is that it isn’t for the reported $400k
Very hard without a crystal ball. ARey would have been perfect for the 2022 season partnering with Hynes.
But I believe he wanted the big bucks for 3 seasons. will his body hold up for that long
His back is rooted he only trains 1 session a week.
