My thoughts exactly. Not to mention they are sunk costs. (Already payed and any future decisions will not change the fact that the money is gone.)
I think the only disappointing thing was (if true) was his perceived lack of effort in rehab. I.e. did he do his absolute best to get back on the field as soon as possible?

Everyone I've heard from the club speaking about his attitude and effort have all been pretty complimentary, so it sounds like he's been doing all the right things. The one standout was Morris talking about how a fair portion of it was mental, which I took to be be regarding his confidence that he'd hold up. But that still didn't come across as a criticism as such

You'd hope so. Though not sure what the SJ issue is now if it's not money... length of contract you'd have to assume. Oh, and that he board apparently hates him

I respect and appreciate what Moylan’s doing this year, I really do, but I simply don’t want him in the halves next season with Hynes. Go to England, tear it up over there and earn yourself a good pay day to finish up Matty.
