Every interview I have seen of him since he has joined us he has said how pumped he is to put our jersey on
Gets a rise out of me everytime

I spoke to him today, and yeah he is bust'n to get the jersey on,
Also a great speaker, was willing to chat with everyone.

Good vibe at the moment.

It's actually a little scary to think just how far the club has come in such a short passage of time.

In 2011 (Just a mere three years ago) we were the laughing stock of the NRL. We weren't performing of the field, our membership tally was pathetic and we were financially unstable. Now fast forward to 2013 and we have a squad that boasts Carney, Lewis, Ryan, Gibbs and M. Gordon,we have an improving membership tally and to top it all off we have financial stability with the development approval.

It's an awesome time to be a Sharks fan alright.

I hit the rep button on that because I agree 100%

What isn't to love about Cronulla at the moment!

Apologies if I've missed it earlier in the thread but can someone tell me if they know how bad Lewis's injury is and if he is likely to be playing rd 1. Seems like we have a number of injuries for this stage of the year

Can't take the Shire out of the boy
He says he'll be playing the trial in 2 weeks against Newcastle.... He wanted to play on Friday night against Manly but I think we've wrapped him in cotton wool which is fair enough for trials.

He said it was just a hiccup in his Oblique. I personally think it was just an excuse to get him out of the All-Stars game. Its amazing how many injuries u hear of during the pre season =[

Gallen Pomeroy Carney Gibbs. All reported to be carrying injuries of some type. Who are we expecting to be available for Rd 1?

The 2 points come in handy though!

Man we lost 3 easily winnable matches last year,

Tigers in round 1, and Panthers and Storm late in the season. Fair enough Panthers game came under great controversy, they still only had to make 1 tackle to win the game, which they did not do. Storm as well........The tigers game, well that was just a shamozzle.

Those 6 points alone, not to mention the draw against Roosters we should never have let happen, making it 7 points extra, woulda put us in the top 4 well and truly. We didnt give ourselves a chance. Not to mention all the games we lost really badly
