not in the shire anymore :(
Hunt isn't that small ... he's actually pretty big, so it's not like a David & Goliath thing.

Being a lean fella myself, I kinda understand Simmo's reluctance to run into some forwards. A guy on my team gave me a bit of advice early on, that I tell myself before each game, "Pain is fear leaving your body."

a wise man once said "fight fear with fear"..........hahaha

it was a terrible piece of defence by dykes that let smith through which led to widders' try. Rushed up by himself leaving a huge gap.

Again the members of sharksforever are going off their heads, they cannot see the light of day:eek: :D Cheer up peoples, life goes on & I bet next game things will be back to normal & everyone will be saying plenty of lovely things:D I guess you'll be always disappointed if you worship a game night & day:cool:

Well if we had won a bloody premiereship life can go on but its just every single year we go really well out of the blocks but can't last the length of the race so thats why all the passionate sharks supporters here are venting their anger. I for one am sick of getting my hopes up only to be trounced on by **** play.

I thought our defence wasn't as dominant as in recent weeks, when we played Souths. But the whole 2nd half was played basically inside our 40. Im glad the boys just didn't cave in so the score line didn't blow out.

Hamstead was terrible though. He was so bias, he should be dropped to PL for that effort. But they might let him off cos it was the Sharks on the recieving end of those bias calls.

not only do teams that we should beat beat us, they then go on to play better after, eg souths winning again and warriors not losing since

... on second thought thats better than them getting smashed by everyone else

Not only do I find the majority of these comments incomprehensible, they're bordering on harvey normanism. Just because I live in a territory recently reclaimed by Sir Johnny, doesn't perpetuate a redneck blue collar persona.
Stand up for yourselves people, big coloured writing with no concernable relevance to the playing standard of cronulla or our opponents only draws attention to your ignorance. Is that your intention? This club has survived since before I was born because they brush aside the bull**** and get on with it. Anyone who says we can't win it this year has history on their side. You negative minded morons that berate our current player list and claim loyalty to the club at the same time, are pretenders.
None of us enjoyed Preston's benching or Peachey's sacking, blame the salary cap if you have too! Loyalty is a hard pill to swallow sometimes.
Take it with water or beer or a grain of salt. If it's bitter and you bitch about it, your'e better off bouncing off down the road and barracking for this years
sure thing! I say " Here we go again, my friend!"

please tell me thats in no way directed at me

Don't worry bort, I think what stevie was saying is that If Sharks fans have to criticise their team, constructive criticism combined with some knowledge is the way to go. He's not happy about some of the negative comments on this thread (I don't blame him either) written by Sharks fans about their own team, although if a serve was directed at anyone in particular, I believe that it was Peach who was in the firing line.
