Hi guys,

I thought I'd pass on word that Lady Coco gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby boy at 7:36 this morning! Although he is free to use his agency and choose which ever team he likes (I won't be enforcing Sharks fan hood upon him) I sincerely hope he follows the Sharks just like his daddy. We named him Manning and just to help him along, daddy decked him out with a few friends to help him through his first sleep...

Now to get some sleep of my own! :borat

congrats..

Manning aye, different...Peyton or Eli? :p

Hehe, thanks dude.

We actually decided on his name during Super Bowl XLII where my wife (a non-sports fan watching begrudgingly) joked that if the Giants pulled off the improbable upset over the undefeated-all-season-long Patroits (NFL fans will know just how unlikely that was going to be) that we would name our first child Manning, after Giants quarterback Eli Manning.

As it turned out, the Giants pulled off the miracle upset and the name just stuck with us ever since.

So in answer to your question peach, it was technically after Eli :drunk

That is Awesome! Me being a huge Giants fans, that is amazing... Will be a sharks supporter and named after a giants player!

Congrats Coco!

So very well done to you and "The Lass"

Just beautiful... a huge welcome to little Manning... a fine strong name for a boy... and well may he make a little history along the way himself.

May his sharkness fear no darkness.

Congrats to all three of you... and Mrs fitz is rapt for you too!

Well done!

Fancyman, we need to sit down and discuss your tactics. At the moment I'm changing nappies at a 100% rate, meaning I've done every one since birth. Haha, please teach me your escapism tactics.

Thanks to everyone for their well wishes. I am off to take our baby his membership package which I've had waiting for him for months, including his member's jersey (which has his name on it for those curious enough to look - haha!) and his season ticket with daddy in the ET Upper. Again, let's hope he does choose to support the Sharkies (I'm 99.9% confident he will) and nobody else. If we do win this weekend against Souths,he will officially become my lucky charm as well. Up Up Cronulla!

Congratulations to you both, love the photo! If he keeps you up at night, you can show him replays of our last 2 games :)
