In light of Pomeroy's axing yesterday, I thought Sharks fans might want to take this opportunity to vent any frustrations they have harboured against other current/former Cronulla players (I also noticed a couple of you have already done this as a sarcastic response to deano the p's Favourite Sharks Line Up thread y'day).

Feel free to list your reasons, no matter how irrational they may be.

Here's my side -

1- Ben Sammut...AKA "Bonehead". Always made mistakes at the back and missed a would-be game-tying field goal from in front, in a sudden-death semi against the Knights at the SFS in 1995. I was sitting behind the posts that day too.
2- Darren Albert...Sharks legend David Peachey was run out of the club to make room for this mug. By far the worst move the late, great Steve Rogers made as Football Manager/CEO.
3- Ben Pomeroy...Less said the better.
4- Jarrod Anderson...Daddy's boy.
5- Matt Wright...How he's played over 60 first grade games at his age is beyond me.
6- Blake Green...Played like dog**** in defence and attack against Melbourne in the 2008 preliminary final.
7- Adam Dykes...Dumbest half I've ever seen play the game. Had plenty of skill, but even in matches when he played well he still made numerous mistakes.
13- Greg Bird...What he did to Shane Marteene in 2004 was the most disgraceful act ever committed on a football field. Plus, he was rubbish for his first four seasons at Cronulla - before Raper moved him to the back-row in 2006 and he started to fire.
12-Luke Massey...Refer six lines above.
11-Sam Isemonger...Was completely over-hyped. Our worst back-rower in the late nineties; admittedly we had some damn good ones back then.
10- Don Tweedle...This one is personal. Don knocked me on my arse with a shoulder charge - off-the-ball mind you - in a high-school match down in Wollonong. I couldn't believe it when they signed him for the 2003 season because I never rated him, but he only made 5 NRL appearances before it was back to Corrimal for him.
9- Terrance Seu Seu...Again, this has a personal element to it. I got knocked out of a poker tournament by him in 2008. Maybe he should've tried poker as a career, because he was a woeful footballer.
8- Ben Ross...This guy cost us 36 grand-per-game between 2006-2009 and most of them were very average performances on his part. What value! In all seriousness though, I was glad to see him play again after his neck injury and also that he returned to play for us for peanuts.

14- Corey Hughes...We gave him a good start to his pension fund.
15- Karl Filiga...What is the next Sonny Bill Williams up to these days anyway?
16- Adam Cuthbertson...Just another one of Ricky Stuart's great buys. His turnaround in form at the Dragons/Knights (for a fraction of what we paid for him) shows the true value of a great coach.
17- Taulima Tautai...As Miss Krabappel once said: "I'm not even gonna begin telling you what's wrong with that guy."

That's a bit harsh on Ben Sammat.

I was no fan, and was shattered when Peach was out for the 95 season. But he went OK at the back.

As for that semi in 95 - we did blow 2 12 point leads in that game (and a sizable on the week before against Manly).

To pin the loss on Sammat's field goal attempt - which was from 40 metres out - is a bit unfair.

I can't do a team - they are all half backs,

Albert Kelly
Brett Kimmorley
Tim Smith
Blaine Stanley - only because I don't think we ever won when he played

comparing crap with crap, it came down to the fact that smith atleast scored tries for us. porter did nothing

He did win NSW Cup player of the year. I put that up there with the 2GB man of the match. :)

Couldn't have said it any better. I think my pure hatred for Tim Smith played a part too.
