He is a grub. Made a fool of so many people. Not to mention all the people who supported him through his cancer etc. I am glad Nike have dumped the bloke. And hope he is taken down from the pedastool forever so many put him on.

Only thing I respect about the bloke anymore is the fact he raised millions for cancer research. The rest, utter belend.

I just don't get people that can still idolise a man that built his career on cheating.

I don't like the man for his Tour de France wins or his Olympic medals.
I like the man because of the sheer admiration he has for his mother.
She was a single mother at the age of 17. By the time lance was 16 he was already supporting her by doing triathlons and swimming.
I dunno man... Some things mean more to me then accomlishments and medals. This man was a freak when it comes to natural ability. It's just a shame that he was lead to cheat.
What's that saying? If you can't beat them join them? When it comes to cycling its not a matter of who is cheating, it's a matter of catching them. They all do it.

I haven't read his books or anything, but that reeks of PR spin to me. The classic battler angle.

In reality, it sounds like he was doing something he loved and was clearly good at. The fact that he was getting paid was a bonus. If he gave money to his mum to support her (and himself), well that's fantastic, but it's probably something that most people would do in that situation. If supporting his mum was his main motivation, he probably would have got a more regular pay cheque from a paper run.

He's a ****ing crook and I hope he is prosecuted for ripping off thousands of people, both in a sporting sense and financially.
