Saw a whisper on Facebook that the Knights have offered us Enari Tuala.
He's a pretty competent depth outside back. Wouldn't be awful, even more than with depth forwards you really hope not to see too much of depth backs in NRL, but if needed he should be solid. Presumably jumps Hiroti in depth chart
84 appearances, 34 tries
23 games on the wing for 18 of those tries is a decent strike rate, only 16 tries from 59 games at centre but tbh that's not awful either

He'd be a solid depth pickup. Also have to remember Ikuvalu may not be available. Not necessarily going to push any of our #2-#5 for a spot, but with injuries and (Ramien) suspensions he'd probably still play a dozen games or so. He's an upgrade on Hiroti.

geez i wouldnt knock that back either, 21 games, 8 tries, 5 try assists, 13 runs from 110m

pretty error prone though
Is that based on watching him, or just his high stats for errors (24)?

Sometimes with wingers looking at those stats can be a little misleading imo. If they knock down a pass to save a try that goes as an error against them, when it is actually a great piece of play.

I don't actually know if he's got good hands or not. Just curious.

I'm essentially ignoring Ikuvalu.
He is outside top 17 anyway - if he comes back later in season and can contribute that is fantastic but I wouldn't be factoring in him playing into too many recruitment decisions

Worth A Risk ?
Minor Discipline Issue At Knights , But Their Playing Group Is A Shambles , Emanating Down From The Coach
I'm sure he'd knuckle down and pull his head in under Fitz

We got

Ikuvalu, Iro, Hiroti, Tracey, Ronnie, Katoa, Tuala Stonestreet who all play wing. We don’t need anymore wingers imo. So I wouldn’t accept him from the knights.

I'd take Tuala for Miller as he's a much better option at centre or wing than Miller.

If we are down to our 3rd choice fullback we can make something work for a few games. We're more likely to see depth tested on the edges though given there are more positions to cover.

In saying that though, it possibly shows they are getting more desperate to get Miller across, and we could maybe hold out for a young gun.
