It’s a shame we didn’t make the tough choice with this guy like we did with the Braileys. We picked the unproven younger one and let go of a very good hooker, backing the judgement of the coaching staff. We could have done the same thing before re signing Chad. But we didn’t.

1 - I don't count Jayden as a very good hooker. Far too one dimensional.

2 - I think there were other circumstances around his father and the club in why Flanno Jr left.

I think we should go over this again. I've forgotten the first 196 times it's been discussed so far.

Well you see what happened was John Morris got signed as Cronulla's coach and then immediately extended Chad Townsend using Kyle Flanagans face as the table before Chad and John both started kicking Kyle in the shins and telling him to get out of the club because they'll never love him and he will never be an NRL player while Chad Townsend still has hair and that's the story of how John Morris, very specifically and with no other factors or timing issues, chose Chad Townsend over Kyle.

Well you see what happened was John Morris got signed as Cronulla's coach and then immediately called every other NRL coach to ensure nobody else in the league is interested in signing Chad, then extended Chad Townsend using Kyle Flanagans face as the table before Chad and John both started kicking Kyle in the shins and telling him to get out of the club because they'll never love him and he will never be an NRL player while Chad Townsend still has hair and that's the story of how John Morris, very specifically and with no other factors or timing issues, chose Chad Townsend over Kyle.

I've fact checked this. Everything is 100% accurate, though I've added the bold bit (must have slipped your mind).

Tiger Shark has been a member since 2010... and still doesn't know the story...

Bort, finally the truth we've been trying to expose. Thank you.

I can’t believe we let Jnr go to sign Chad!

**** the Flanno.

We should make Chad’s father the coach.

Chad plus Chad dad.

Brilliant :)

Surely everyone would be happy with Chad if he were only paid $200k... his dad-coach could just receive $300k extra.
