Solid game but Sifa goes straight back.

He’d benefit on a string of games together but won’t happen unless we lose a player.

Good to know he can do the job, though wasn’t in doubt too much I feel

With us still having a few injuries, maybe we should look at picking him on the bench?

4. Sifa/Iro

14. Iro/Sifa

At least until we get some grunt back in the forwards (it’s temporary peeps. I’m not advocating for Sifa to the bench permanently (just another 2- 3 rounds until BHU, Toeby, Dale are ready to come back)

Nikora is back next game so Sifa goes back to centre for mine. I'd like to see Iro on the bench, though.

Solid game. Though we do miss the metres there. i though he was in and out of the game, Jessie was looking for ball but Iro wasn’t
Interesting, I thought the opposite. 135m off 15 runs. 2nd most of our back 5. Ramien had 163 off 17.

Add to that a good pass for Ronnie, a nice try, 4 tackle busts I thought he was busy and did just about everything right. Had a tough match up against Timoko too and managed to mostly handle him, although he did look very dangerous at times.

Some of the younger people who come to this website may not appreciate just how good his Dad (Kevin) and his uncle Tony were in their heyday. They were both probably somewhere between extremely good and elite. Kevin played 352 games (mainly in England for Wigan, Leeds and St Helens plus a further 34 representative games for NZ) while Tony Iro played over 250 plus 25 for NZ. Kayal is a bit shorter and maybe a bit lighter than his Dad and uncle but he is still a decent size. Kayal is his own man and shouldn't carry the burden of their achievements, but sometimes the acorn doesn't fall too far from the oaktree(s). Kayal may have further upside if given the opportunity.

I’d like to see Iro given more time, provided we can use Talakai more than we did last night. Something has to change for us to have a chance at winning the big games.

Worst case, Iro could be a #14.

Yeah I wouldn't be opposed to Iro on the bench while we're missing troops. Can probs play anywhere 1-5 and potentially a bit of second row in a pinch.

Does nikora coming back push taleki back out there, I’m not certain. Rekon Fitz may give him another go unless dale is back.

Nah nikora to 2nd row
Taleki back to centre
Well if we are just talking about what Fitz might do I can guarantee you he doesn’t give Talakai another go at second row if Nikora is available.

As for using him as a bench forward unless Dale is back. Seems like a real long shot too.
