I'd agree it was reckless so if that is the lowest penalty for reckless I guess it is the right penalty.

Thought he might get 3-4 weeks, no surprise to me.

I thought it was reckless too, yes Dufty was falling but not that much I reckon.

Also, I think he was third man into the tackle so no need to hit him like that.

Did Ronaldo get cited for running in late? The Fox commentators mentioned he might have had something to answer

What's a good old fashioned punch up between 2 players going to be worth this year ?
Sin bin then all forgiven ?

Hiroti played on the left in the trial and was reserve on the weekend on that same side for Dugan. Does it matter that he’s playing right next weekend? I know very little about the guy. Talakai played both sides but more right last season from memory.

he played on the right a bit in the first trial against the dragons, think he played on the right against the raiders last year as well
Sweet so he’s the way they’ll go. Atleast we know which side the raiders will attack now.

And for a few weeks after too. Just saw the replay and if that was someone doing it against us you’d say it was a cheap shot.

Would not be surprised if he was rubbed out for 3-4 weeks.

Are you on the judiciary? Don't know how on earth you called it

Not worth 3-4 weeks on past rulings though unless this is the new standard for punishment in 2021 and they actually consistently enforce and rule on it as such (won't hold me breath). was also a little surprised he got sin binned, yea he knocked dufty out somewhat and he had to leave the field for HIA so it's fair enough Ramien gets a spell on the sideline partiuarly as dufty returned to the field after ramien as well but again on past rulings plenty of players never copped a sin bin for these sort of incidents - just on report and a penalty

The only thing going for him is it was on Nufty who is the ugliest man in the NRL. Not possible to do further damage to that head.

also, Nufty's head is where most people's waistline's begin

that made me nervous live and on replay - he's lucky he had an open palm and not a closed fist. didn't think it was his go

That's the big difference between low grade careless and low grade reckless. Usually if a player slips or arm slips up an makes contact it's accidental and punishment is less.
I'm fine with that one being called reckless, third man in and used a forceful swinging arm not looking where he was swinging it and made full head contact as a result.
Borderline whether it should be a binning but I'd definitely be keen to see an opposition player go for similar so I guess it probably is.

Two would've been about right. Bad out, at this stage of the season but.

I bet ya if it was 3 weeks out from a semi and Latrell Mitchell or Teddy did the same thing .They'd get two weeks

I think it was more about how hard Ramien swung his arm coming into the tackle. It was reckless and unnecessary, even if he was unlucky it connected with the well worn melon of the Dragons player. Not ideal... We'll miss his strong early set hit ups.

Billy would get nothing and Joey Leilua would post on instagram that if it was him he'd miss the season.

Not sold on hiroti after his outings last year- I’m assuming he’ll slot in. Hopefully he’s improved

Hiroti was poor when he was on the wing last season, but I think the one game he played in the centres he was decent. I’m remaining hopeful.
