That's only correct if we assume BHU doesn't count as being in our best team, which he should be.
Although was technically available for selection I think fitness/health a factor in non-selection
BHU does not count as being part of the best team this year, Tuks is in front of him if you want to be for real ..

and Nathan Cleary literally has a sub on the bench in the instance his shoulder gives out.

I think it proves if you're important enough your team will try despite the fact you're injured
But what if he plays and as a result can never run as well again, or permanently loses how fast he can move laterally etc.

There would be many many instances where it didn't play out that way. I think your joshing, but would you really want to take in a questionable unfit player into a Prelim?
Probably, I was just responding to your post saying it never works.

On the second bit, it depends on the situation. I'm OK with Sifa in this instance given he won't be marking up on a dynamic centre. In fact, he could cause absolute chaos.

Weird thing to come from a shoulder injury

Players play with various injuries all the time. Just have to trust the medical staff if they play them they are healthy enough / low risk enough it was the right call, even if it doesn't work out 100% of the time.

This isn't the Nathan Cleary thread. That post was made to compare approaches you nong. 🤣

You responded to a post about Cleary!

But I did know what you meant haha
Of course you did lol.

I was thinking that Hughesy starting his post with a small a 'and' would have given you the hint that he was continuing from your post about Ramien.

Gus Goulds line about taking injuries in big matches is - nothing serious below the waist.

You can always needle shoulders, arms, ribs etc.

But when it effects your ability to run around for 80 mins - forget about it.

Why? They absolutely pumped us in the middle last time. Cam made something like 178 tackles. If ever there was a game for a 4 forward bench it’s this one.
Yeah that’s pretty stupid to have Atkinson on the bench instead of a forward

In the first half.

I agree though, we can't be dominated in the middle again, 4 forwards for mine.
Whilst I agree. I can see the issue. If we lose a back we have to then move Nikora and play Williams on the edge. All that to get 15 extra minutes out of BHU.
