Let him go and sign another dummy half who's had top grade experience. Wanted Healey to be the next man up but seems like he's goneskies.

I'd get Paix if he came at a good price. Stuck behind Walters, Smoothy and Mozer. Atleast he'd be back up for Brailey or could even use him as a dummy half on bench if they wanted to explore that option. He can also be a back up halfback if desperate. He's 24 could get something out of him
Isn’t there another Brailey in the pipeline who is also a hooker?

They didn’t think it through very well did they. If they all played different positions they could’ve all played together

How old is he?, might be waiting a few years before he's ready, or would he be promoted next season to jets, thought he was still young

Is he though, or is it just speculation?

Dont know for sure, but if he's staying, let Berrell go and have Healey next man up👍🏾
Yep, agree.

With no intended disrespect towards Berrell, but happy to let him go as he is just in the way of some up and coming young hookers (Healey and Brailey Mk III)

Berrell is getting on a bit and I can’t see him being a regular in the NRL for us, so let him explore his options which frees up our “options”.

win/win

I can see the logic in playing Berrell in that game over another forward (Tuks?).

To win in the NRL you can’t just take one out hit ups. Someone has to pass the ball in the middle of the field. Outside of McInnes they were missing every other player who has shown they can do it, and you can’t just keep throwing Cam out there for 80. He plays better when he gets a short rest.

Brailey sin bin messed up the plan, but Berrell’s short stint as a passing middle was effective imo. Reminded me of the Hannay days when Tricky would play that role.

Taj is apparently the best of all 3 brothers but this is conjecture and don't take it too seriously. I think the new younger model is always considered the most exciting prospect just like Blayke was.

There was talk Taj might eventually transition from hooker into a different forward type role. Take with another pinch of salt as I think alot is going to come down to what the club want to do with him which is probably going to be to keep developing him as a 9 and hope 3rd times a charm.

Taj was doing some sports photography, snapping pics at training ect.

Thanks Gards, but my doc has told me to cut down!

So in this case, I’ll wait for hard evidence

What happened to biting our tongues on pathways players? Doesn’t apply for Flegg?

I have no feelings either way on Taj btw.
Fair comment, however Flegg players are also adults and been around a while and Taj Brailey has had a bit of a golden run in team selections through the junior ranks some might say. He now needs to perform and show he's earnt his spot. Many will say he hasn't.

There's a lot of nepotism and politics in junior reps and the sharks are starting to lose a few good juniors. They need to stop picking kids from NZ and Qld over in kids in front in them when they are clearly not better.

I get it mate. All good.

I should add that there is one Qld kid they should sign and play ahead of everyone :D

Any word on his arm/shoulder injury?

I thought he had played alright the last two games so hopefully it’s nothing too severe.
