I reckon Darius Boyd would be an excellent pickup. I remember reading that if the broncs sign Israel then they would struggle to resign the likes of Micheals, Boyd and Joel Moon. Boyd would be a far better attacking option on the wing than Covell in his current form and is a known try scorer.

And the only centres worth that much are well established rep centres who can create their own opportunities with the ball, as well as reading and making decisions in defense. The only 2 centres I'd even consider paying a half mill for would be Hodges and Gasnier.

But you said falou is not worth 500 because he is a winger but falou is now a recognised centre.

I dont know how you can say that falou cant create his own tries.......you obviously didnt watch AusvNZ last year where he ran over 5 NZ players when there was nothing on. He is also a terrific defender and you vry rarely see him make a bad read or miss a tackle

When you look at those stats, ofcourse he is going to demand a large amount of money. Falou may not be worth 500 a year but that obviously what Brisbane had to put out there to lure Falou

who said there was anyhting wrong with scoring from crossfield kicks, a try is a try and there all worth 4 points.........you cant say that falou hasnt got a knack of getting over the line.

Falou is a great leaper n can always get above his opponent n thesedays someone like this is invaluable because a crossfield kicks come at the end of most attacking sets that finish in the opponents 30m

Majority of his tries come of the back of pin point kicks from Cronk or from being on the end of a very classy Melbourne back line. I'm talking about coming in, grabbing the footy and laying on some $500,000 worth of individual brilliance to bag your mob a four pointer when nothing is doing.

I did watch the Australia v NZ test last year. Folau went well. But who didn't? It was like a full contact training run for the Aussies. Folau goes very well in very dominant teams; Storm and Australia. Pretty hard to look too bad in either of those outfits last year.

Finally, about his defense, he is odds on to rattle your back teeth 1 on 1. Run numbers at him and he struggles to make decisions. But so he should, he's only 18, that ability to read make decisions on the play will come with experience. 1 example of his defensive problems is the World Club Challenge. Keith Senior made him look like a dope.

And he was joint leading try scorer with Bowen.

just heard on the news that the contract is worth more like 350-400K a year. The media said it was a 2Mill but it is a 1.3-1.6 Mill contract over 2 years with a 2 year option

2 years, with a 2 year option, you dont get paid for the option unless you take it, so in which case you should be saying either:
A)hes getting 1.3-1.6 over 4 years with an opt out after 2
or
B)hes getting 700-800 over 2 years, with an option for a 2 year extension
