Everyone is saying what a great game Fergo had, what about the fact he played at centre.

His' defense apart from the one lapse, was very good & he had a much higher involvement rate than he does on the wing.

He trained for that match for like a week, makes me think if he spends the next month training there he would be fine.

Considering our problems regarding the centre spot. I wonder if either Collis or Fergo could deal with left centre (either that or it HAS to go to Wright)

This would also open up a wing spot for, Tautai, Stapo, Gordon or Gardner.

fergo had a fantastic game for the indigenous all stars, he looks alot stronger faster and bigger.

Blix said it, he should defineatly be playing centre his involvment was much higher than usual and it showed with him putting a beautiful in and away on folau and in defence he was pretty good.

Toops was one of the nrl all stars best, lets hope its good signs for both of them this year.

id much rather [for the time being] have ferguson outside a decent/experienced centre such as collis, collis can be sensational on his day and with great service from barrett and stapo chipping in from the back, it could be a bloody top notch centre/wing combo

Here is the fundamental problem with the All Stars concept. You can't criticise 1 of the teams without beginning with a disclaimer like "without being racist.."

Compare this to the heavily endorsed hatred Blues and Maroons are encouraged to show against each other and anyone claiming this lopsided affair the next Origin is kidding themselves.

I don't even know who I'm meant to go for in the All Stars. I'm not Indigenous so I'm not hopping in that cart. And I'd have to be a racist prick to back the NRL All Stars in any capacity worthy of calling support.

was a great game though.
I love the concept, and the beauty is, I dont think you have to be indigenous or a 'whitey' to support either side.
I was going for the indigenous side just because of Fergo and Birdy being in it, and would of happily worn the jersey and gone to the game had it been closer.
Maybe im being naive. Id like to think we're all a bit better than that though.

Pretty sure Jennings and Folau are Polynesian not indigenous, just because they have darker skin doesn't mean they are indigenous. Also who's to say any of those bolded names have indigenous parents.

Was at the game. was wearing an allstars singlet but was pretty much cheering for Bird and Fergo (how good is he) But then i was cheering for Jennings and Burgess as well(what a prop god damn it). i didnt really care who won i enjoyed the game the crowd was magic and the idea is amazing. Its also more of a contest then Australia vs Anyone
