No Birds not to blame, SHE IS! And Birds stupid mate that didnt take the rap for it. This all could of been avoided if he was a true friend and took one for the team!

I'd say at least part of that mistake would have to be put on Birdy right? I mean he was my favourite player but he had his chance in court and was revealed as a liar.

I mean i actually kind of blame him for our current situation. I think if he didnt do it then we beat Melbourne in the prelim, have less bad headlines (as he partly started our bad rep) and arent doing as bad this year as he is a great player. Brings up the point, is our entire bad situation all Bird's fault? :birdno :birdno

Wait for the appeal mate.

1. no amount of money was ever going to keep john lang. it was his decision to leave and i think 2001, after getting us so close in the years previous(especially 99), was meant to be his big finale for the sharks. he needed a new challenge and penrith was ideal for him.

2. why kimmorley? yes he was a good player but we were only successful in 2002 and 2008 whilst he was half, and they were the only two years in which he was not captain.

there are so many reasons why were currently in the $hit but these are so not them.

or what about:
1. allow chris anderson to finish his contract (that would of saved us nearly a million dollars!), but
2. not let him sign kimmorley when we had two awsome halves already (theres a ****load more money considering presto was actually enjoyable to watch and pulled massive crowds just to see him)

I thought it was the Sharks that wanted a change in direction, not John Lang?

Lang never wanted to leave. He was pushed by Rogers so he could get his bum buddy Anderson.

nah he announced his retirement before the season even began but was going to quit coaching for a while then the penrith gig became available so he got his son to go there too. and steve rogers hated chris anderson.
