Yeah I’d prob support Penrith if I had to pick. But it wouldn’t happen, I’d just quit the sport and only watch the origin matches.

I’m already a kings member and go to all the games. I actually get a lot more enjoyment watching the basketball over league.

League for me is not the same game I used to love playing / watching.

NBL is definitely on its way back up.
I’m a baseball fan as well so I’ve got Sydney Blue Sox games to get my fix for that. All three good leagues which all run in the summer. :/

I've been losing interest since we won, probs just watch Dragons down at Jubilee (local) or Rabbits. Other than that I would be focusing more on the Baseball here, OR if Newtown are around still probably just support them.

Depends WHERE the second Brisbane team is located. If they are a second team that called themselves "Brisbane" and always play out of Suncorp I wouldn't be interested, but if they were at Ipswich, Logan or Redcliffe or it was one of the existing Q Cup teams promoted in to the NRL I would get behind them.

Alternatively if they happened to also boot a few other teams out and bring back the Bears I would also consider following them. I never cared much for them in the past but Florimo is probably one of my top 5 favourite non-Sharks players ever.

I'd watch and care a lot less, but would half-heartedly follow Souths because my dad and granddad do.

Haha, I honestly was thinking about this last night. It would be hard to support any other team but a lot of my family are Souths fans, so I’d probaly just jump on the bandwagon with them. Wouldn’t be the same though

Lost at sea.
Id have no heart for NRL, even now my time for the code wanes more and more. I find i watch alot more local grade footy these days.

That being said if i had to choose one team id watch the odd warriors game, purely because id have to continue the trend of torturing myself watching a team that hasnt won a comp and is frustratingly incompetent no matter the roster.

I'd have to endure more pain and support the Warriors...

In the time before a Perth team entered I'm not sure who I'd support - would be heavily swayed by teams rosters.

If a team I don't mind grabbed Wade for example (or another relevantly likeable Shark in this hypothetical timeline) then that might be enough to get me watching them and win me over.
If no players I liked went to clubs I could tolerate then it might be a club that has a roster I like at that time. I doubt I would support a non-NSW club although maybe Canberra could scrape in with the right roster.

I'd go Souths as I live in Redfern and its my uncle's team (my second team).

I lived in Newtown for years too and already follow them, I guess that's where all my true passion would go.

I'd probably only half heartedly follow it, just wouldn't be the same without Cronulla, wouldn't bother watching nearly as many matches but I've had a soft spot for Penrith for a while so probably watch a few of their games but as I said it wouldn't be with the same passion as Cronulla. Being from Brisbane though I've just never liked the Broncos at all so that's the strange part. Still follow QLD in the SOO though.

I'd start to take up a bigger interest in the AFL & follow Richmond I reckon, I watch a few of Richmonds games in the AFL now. I'd still have the EPL & Gunners to follow aswell.
