The Tards going into the season with a front 3 of Fahid Ben Khalfallah - Berisha - Marco Rojas with James Troisi sitting behind them. Bloody hell.

Impressive win in extra time there. Sydney Fac had to take the much hard route through to the quarter finals compared to the other teams. It doesn't get much harder then going to Perth, home of the cup specialists, but they got it done. Very impressed.

We wern't at our best, but still good win for the Socceroos.

Japan losing overnight was the big shock - definitely helps our qualification chances

That Melbourne City team has to be overwhelming favourites for the title this year. They absolutely dominated WS and it looks like Fornaroli and Cahill are already on the same page. A top notch midfield behind them. Bratten was almost the best player on the pitch. Defence looks good as well. Not going to go as far adtonsay it's theirs to lose, but they could potentially easily dominate the league. True they played sub par opposition, WS were absolutely ****house last night, plus Topor-Stanley's idiotic red card didn't help them at all. WS got a lot of improvement in them.

Nothing much to say about Sydney FC's win. A good solid win over one of the best state league teams around. Really pleased with what I saw from Bobo. Zullo already looks like a top notch pickup. Good signs.

Hopefully Rovers can get rid of Coyle and bring back Allardyce, everything has gone downhill since he got dumped for that clown Kean
