That was an ordinary game, both teams looked clunky in attack and only tries were off kicks.

Some unsal Klien and Bunker calls. But Vossy thrives on the controversial calls.

Storm is still a top team, but not doing anything spectacular.

Just wanted to get back to my comments above about Munster. Yes he is a brilliant player. Yes he is successful and is arguably in the top 5 players in the game. But some of his antics just absolutely rile me.

When he was sent to the sin bin, he made gestures to the crowd putting his fingers to his ears. He knew they were booing him but he just couldn't be the bigger man and walk off without making any comment. Just had to be a ******** about it.

When it was nearing his time to return to the field, he was suddenly seen on one of the bikes on the sideline with still close to 2 minutes still to serve on his sin binning. How that was allowed I don't know and even Vossy on the commentary remarked on this and wondered if it was legal.

On the field he was constantly in the refs ear about rulings and when at dummy half, he was raising his arms at the ref looking for penalties. I know a number of players do this but he was just doing it all the time. There were some other instances where he irked me as well but I just can't remember the specifics.

I guess that’s what mates them “great” at what they do (the self confidence) I guess.

I think it makes sense in a player safety respect. Body has been sitting there for 10 minutes cooling down and then is expected to come back on cool straight into things.
Gotta allow them to warm it back up otherwise higher risk of injury.
They are allowed to stand on the sideline/tunnel from the 2 minute mark so they aren't getting any different info by being on the bike.

Understand what you are saying but I've never seen anyone else do it.

Do some burpees in the change room or run around the room. Players warm up in change rooms all the time.

I guess they can be studying the other team from the sidelines but there's already other players on the bench and trainers etc who can do that. Is 1 extra set of eyes is going to make a difference?

If anything, having the sin binned player watch as the other team scores through the hole they left would be a worse punshiment then not having them watch it.

I just don't get what purpose having them sit in the shed has.

I think it's a product of when there used to be more fights. You don't want to bin two guys who just smacked each other around and sit them next to each other on the sideline.

Appreciate the characters of the game.. the good the bad and the ugly - It’s entertainment and theatre.

There should be more of it aslong as it’s within the rules and non violent

Im not against it provided they are silent and there is no contact with any players or staff during that time (ie no involvement at all, other than any standard involvement he could get in the sheds seeing out the sin bin).

They need to keep warm and moving to help minimise any risk of an (leg) injuries (ie going back on cold and then trying to start up again)

I guess the only risk is that he could insight the crowd by being there, and he could also just use the bike in the change rooms.
